I have been purchasing from the Bethesda store mostly because the service was excellent. I am a Pro and as an architect and design build professional dealing with people I can count on is essential. Reza Ghajar has been incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. His colleagues Stephanie and Navila most recently have also been very helpful and I would like to commend all three. Their diligence has saved me time and hence money.

I became a Pro Xtra member this year while doing my own home remodeling. This store at 7111 Westlake Terrace, Bethesda has been the most important part of this job and learning about construction. The staff are friendly, informative and care about their clients. Great experience at The Home Depot!

Was trying to hang some lights from the concrete ceiling of our balcony with a regular drill. It broke of course, so we went to Home Depot for help figuring out how to get it done. The staff, especially Rob C, was super helpful and we got our project done. Now we have beautiful lights hung!

the store has the product in stock for a higher price than online. I asked the store to price match and they claim it is not possible to price match their own website.

Pretty much had to wait on myself after initially being directed to the wrong area and once I got to the right area no one who “worked” that area was available. When they finally were available by that time I had done the research on my own and they added very little value. I then had to use self checkout. Given I pretty much waited on myself and had to check myself out I should have at least gotten the employee discount. Will shop elsewhere the next time.

Well organized, staff is much more helpful than other places.

I went to the store with a very complicated lamp project. The lamp was antique and from England and the wiring was not working. A gentleman named Sinisa Was able to tell me what needed to be purchased to fix the problem. I have been to three Lamp repair stores who were not able to fix this lamp. Sinisa was solution oriented and fixed my problem in 20 minutes. I am forever grateful.

I would like to come back when I need any building materials.

In the past 30 days I have purchased a convection stove top/double oven, a microwave, and a washer/dryer combination. I could not be more pleased with the service I received or the highly competitive nature of the pricing.

I have been shopping at several Home Depot and Bethesda as always been very friendly. Staff always seem friendly with me, really nice to shop there

I bought new washer and dryer from Frank in Bethesda store. Knew his stuff, was candid about options and cut to the chase. He knows his stuff.

I was there to get some keys made and to buy a snow shovel. The employees who helped me were very professional. Several employees greeted me as I walked through the store. The gentleman who made the keys was very professional. The young man, Ronald, who went to retrieve the large rolling stairs to reach the shovel on the upper shelf, was invaluable. The snow shovel was exactly what I wanted. And the keys made for me fit the locks perfectly.

A lot of improvement is needed.

I have visited many Home Depot locations across several states and cities, and I must say the Bethesda, Maryland store stands out as the most professional, courteous, and helpful Home Depot I have ever experienced. Every associate I’ve encountered at this location goes out of their way to ensure customers receive the help they need. If something falls outside their area of expertise, they personally walk you over to someone who can assist — a level of service that truly makes a difference, thanks Larry! This is especially meaningful to me, as I often shop at Home Depot to purchase materials for crews working on my clients’ projects. On one visit, an employee took extra time to educate me about different types of caulking — explaining their benefits and uses. Taking a moment to teach and share knowledge in such a busy environment was above and beyond, and I’m genuinely grateful. I also want to give a massive shout-out to the entire Pro Desk team, especially Mayra. She is incredibly helpful, gracious, and kind. During checkout, she always thanks me for my business, offers water or a snack from the Pro table, and even gives me a little pep talk when she sees I’ve made multiple trips in one day. Her positive attitude, warmth, and genuine care for customers are refreshing and inspiring. I’ve visited Home Depot stores in Texas, Colorado, Virginia, Maryland, and Georgia, and I’ve never met a team that so fully embodies the company’s values or provides such consistently exceptional service. Please extend my sincere appreciation to the Bethesda team — they truly represent the very best of what Home Depot stands for.

Chris Brown was great in assisting me with finding all the items I was looking to purchase.

I purchased two exterior doors through the online virtual apron after nobody could help me at the Bethesda store (they literally gave me the QR code in the store and told me to look online — what’s the point of going to the store?). Since ordering, the store has called me multiple times with extremely basic questions about my order and install that should have been completely clear from their Virtual Apron system. Now I’ve paid the full cost, do not yet have an install date scheduled, and I received an email cancelling one important part of my order without explanation. What worries me most is all of the communication mess before the installation subcontractors have even gotten involved. The last time I used Home Depot for something like this was a water heater install and I swore then, over a decade ago, never again. Their subs were a disaster—one final flue install was needed to complete the job and apparently I had to know that and hire someone on my own. Nobody said anything about it until 5pm Friday night when everything else was done — and I was traveling to Africa the next day. The only reason I went down this road this time was (1) our Virtual Apron rep was amazing and super responsive in a way that exceeded expectations; (2) they had the doors we wanted at a tolerable price point. I didn’t expect the Bethesda store to be such a disaster.

Do not buy from this company. They blocked returns for a broken item that is now sitting in my driveway.

It was great that somebody finally answered the phone in the appliance dept at Home Depot in Bethesda, Md. When we went to the store, I knew exactly which appliance I wanted; one person was ahead of us, so our wait was longer than we had hoped ….but finally the ordering process was relatively as fast as possible with a pleasant sales person. However, it was marked on appliance that delivery would be August 8. But AFTER we paid & placed the order, it stated it would be delivered August 12th….. that part was disappointing and an inconvenience to us!!!

I went to store #2509 few day ago and a staff by the name of Jacob went thru an entire store just to help me locate an item. I went to 2 other stores before and nobody was able to help me. Jacob went above and beyond just to help me

The employees who work outdoors rarely can answer question about the stock, and products. They seem to be just there to check you out. If I need information or advice on a plant or product I will go to one of your near by competitors,,

I bought toilet for 3 days, and no installation schedule was called by Brick Street Plumbing yet.

I was planning to return a water nozzle but ended up buy a connector. The return counter representative was very helpful. He went to the web to check the type of connector that maybe used for the nozzle I thought that does not fit my current water hose. And he found one for me, through I have yet to test whether it fits my hose at home. But he is very patient and even went to the aisle to pick up the connector for me.

They are always so helpful and know exactly where to send me if I request an item.
