Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

Another big spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you want. Don't forget to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water leak in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a trinket box with a sliding lid is a great way to exercise creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
