Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals in 2026?

Another big spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you're looking for. Don't forget to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for springtime temperature changes by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that may let water seep in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you might be looking at a problem.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a trinket box with a sliding lid is a great way to sharpen creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
