What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. I have been shopping at this store since they first opened not only because it is the only Home Depot in the area, but the employees have always been so polite and go out of their way to listen and give advice on any question I have for home improvement and repairs.. There is another store with a different name a few miles farther away but they dont seem to have the inventory nor are they polite to customers..

Always a great store experience
We have been very pleased with every dept, on what we needed to find, or what they would help us find. This is our first time for doing a home improvement project. We where pleased when they explained the PRO EXTRA PROGRAM that we are now a part of. This is more help to make our experience with home depot a pleasant one.

Best by far for all building products!!!!!!!!!!
I work maintenance at an RV park and I drive 30 minutes one way to shop for building materials and other products. I am really pleased with HD store and don't shop any where else if I can help it.. The associates are great and very friendly and helpful. Rental Dept. is great also. Try H.D. and see for yourself .

On the whole I think Home Depot has very friendly & knowledgable associates.
Four stars because Home Depot doesn't always have "the item" you want, but I'll say this, that it always has "a item" that'll work, & an associate that can help with the "reengineering".

Home Depot been advertising all week about giving 10% discount to Veterans. I called before going to store to make sure, when I got in the store I checked in with the Service Counter and they said just show proof. When I went to check out I showed the clerk my DD214 and the clerk said I needed an official VA ID. I have my own health insurance so I don't use the VA. Save it for the Vets that needed it. I had to explain all this to the clerk and she made this big thing about "well I'll do it just this one time." Hey I don't know maybe say something like "thank you for your service."

The tool rental employees are always very helpful and know each piece of equipment they rent. I recently rented a chain saw that was having an issue with the chain tensioner, causing me to constantly have to stop and tighten it. They knocked $10. off the final price for the rental. It was just a small discount but it meant he was listening.
