The associates did a great job today on my visit. They were readily available, and helpful. The store seemed to have been recently rearranged, and neater than I remember. Checkout went quickly, and I was actually glad walking out...That's not always how I feel after spending money. Nice work everybody!

My experience was a purchase via phone. The associate, Lisa in appliances, was extremely helpful. She explained everything and took the time to make sure I understood the steps of my new range purchase. The price was great!!

Friendly associates with lots of knowledge. The store was only out of one item on my list of 50 items. A couple items were in different locations as to where you'd think they'd be, but overall it was a good experience.

Was just at this store the other day and let me tell you what a great store this is. I had such a great experience that I will always go back to Home Depot now. The older gentlemen at the paint counter is just fantastic. He is so nice, friendly and goes out of his way to help you out. The cashier we had was AMAZING and he was so grateful to serve us, but little did he know that we were grateful for him, he made our check out process so fast and easy. What a wonderful store with wonderful employees. Great job Home Depot!!!

Sales associates were easy to find and very helpful & friendly. One of the few stores that honors those who have served this country & who continue to serve by giving them a 10% discount. We veterans truly appreciate that & the fact that The Home Depot appreciates our service and sacrifice.

I went to the Home Depot in Butler, PA to purchase 28 pieces of framing lumber in various sizes and 28 sheets of drywall. I do not have a truck so I needed to rent the Home Depot Load and Go which fortunately was available. I went to the lumber area and I asked if it would be possible to have the drywall loaded with a fork lift. The associates, Jim Bowser, Mike Mac and Matt Edinger said it would be no problem and quickly got the drywall loaded onto the fork lift. I told them I was also going to be purchasing framing limber and gave them a list of the sizes. They told me to go ahead and get the Load and Go and bring it to the loading area. While I was doing this, they pulled all of my lumber from stock and once I had the truck at the loading area, they even loaded it all onto the truck for me. While they were loading everything, I joked that I wish I could load them up and take them home to unload it. Jim Bowser asked me where I lived and we discovered we only lived a few miles from each other. Then Jim stated he was getting off from work shortly and he would stop at my house to help me unload everything. He did stop and helped me carry everything inside. Jim definitely went far above and beyond what I would have ever dreamed a store associate would do for a customer. I am doing some major renovations to a 90 year old home and I intend to buy all of my building materials from Home Depot in Butler, PA. Thanks again to Jim Bowser, Mike Mac and Matt Edinger and all of the other associates at this store.

Employees go out of their way to help and give veterans a discount

Able to get in and out is great and parking near the door is great. I can generally get in and find everything on my list. The store hours are also helpful to me as well.

I was looking for insulated gloves, but they were sold out.

Very satisfied with the service and purchase today

We are having a kitchen renovation done and I went in to see what paint colors were going to work in our space - I found exactly what I was looking for within a few minutes. The gentlemen working the paint counter were quick to help and I was able to get 4 gallons mixed within minutes. AND to top it all off, we found the tiles and backsplash that will be perfect with our color scheme.

I am completely satisfied with the Home Depot. Everytime I visit the store I know I will find what I need and will get the help I need, unlike Lowe's, where I ask for help but only get "we don't do that here", or "no haven't seen one yet". All I wanted is a sheet of foam board cut in half and paint that doesn't eat or melt away foam. To bad Lowe's I got help from your neighbor, Home Depot. Thank you Home Depot. I recommend this store to everyone I talk to.

This Home Depot is the exception not the normal huge box store. The employees seam happy. Willing to help. Even go out of their way to help. Other locations, the help, if you can find any are usually too busy entertaining each other to help a customer. Not here. They make it a point to be friendly, smile, ask you if you need help and follow through. I have never had the service like this at other Home Depot locations.. I visit MANY locations in PA and Ohio on a daily basis. I could only wish for this service at other locations. Only half the time required in this store compared to other Home Depot locations.

My husband and I have been in the store quite frequently of late. We have noted how extremely helpful the staff was, which is quite reassuring. Before the last time we went, I had downloaded the Home Depot app to my phone. While using it, I noted a couple of items that I wanted to check in the store. Then, when at the store, I was pleased to discover that not only could I resource my saved item, like I expected, but the app also told me exactly where in the store to find said item! After I realized that, I continued to look up items to find their locations in the store. What a time saver...great idea!

I go to Home Depots regularly from Pittsburgh to Cleveland. All over North West, PA. The Butler store is head and shoulders above the rest. This store has helpful workers, a pro desk that actually show care about their customers and their work. It has been a great pleasure working with these pros! Thanks for a job well done!

I can't say enough good about the associates in this store! I walked into the flooring dept, started looking, Nate asked if I needed help or had any questions... from there on he was there to help me... all the way to loading my vehicle! :) I've been a "L" gal as long as I can remember, still like them, but I'll be back to HD for sure! I remember years ago walking into this same store and not wanting to ever come back, Nate totally changed my mind on that! He made me feel like he wanted to be there to help me!

Went to Home Depot to purchase a new kitchen and counter top, once there Nicky whom helped me from start to finish, with the process made it very easy and relaxing, with her professional knowledge of kitchens she explained the entire process from start to finish how everything would look why and why not something would work better than others, considered my budget how I felt and just a true professional all around in the future Nicky will be the go to person in kitchens and I would strongly suggest anyone wanting to have your kitchen and design done Nicky is the go to person, so thanks again Nicky looking forward to my new kitchen

my experice shooping here was a experience with in itself. the store isles was some what in exsesablle and blocked off I did several detores to find what I was looking for but overall I liked shpping their the product I was looking for was not in stock such as a frezzer. they had to order it,

On 11/30/15 at 6:45pm My wife and I purchased a door lock/deadbolt combo. Tried installing it and found that the deadbolt was defective. (it happens, no complaint there) So we returned to the store the next day 12/01/15 7:58pm to exchange it. First I was told that I could not exchange it, but had to return it and then could purchase the replacement. This irritated me because now instead of dealing with one person, I need to go back through the checkout and wait in line again to make another purchase. Then I was told that they would not do a return without identification. I explained that I had a receipt and should not need to provide identification. They refused to process the return so I had them contact store management. Store management also explained that they could not process an exchange or return without identification. I asked why I could not make an even exchange and he said that they only process returns so it will keep inventory straight. That made no sense because the item was defective and should not return to normal inventory. I asked if this was a store or corporate policy. The manager told me that it was a corporate decision to deter theft. He just kept giving me text book answers. I know for a fact that Lowes, Walmart and other retailers do not require a Drivers license IF I HAVE A RECEIPT. That is the key. I believe this is less about theft and more about the frequency and amount of returns. I will tell you that my spending far out weighs the returning. On top of that, I only return to exchange defective items for a replacement. I will conclude with this, Is it was right to treat ALL customers as criminals? with their current Return policy, I will no longer patronize their business. Especially when Lowes is right next door. At least there I won't be treated guilty until proven innocent.

Clean store with helpful employees. Always seem to find what I need at this store.
