Store refuses to replace defective chip card reader at register. Its been a year. The same poor one CSR is stuck at the broken checkout counter every day I go. Poor girl is stuck using a checkout with a broken chip reader. She has to act dumb to the fact while having awkward 2 minute interactions, all while the same defective chip reader fails over and over, until locking ojt and allowing a tap or swipe. Its 2025. Treat your employees like humans and give them proper equipment that doesn't negatively effect every transaction for YOUR employee, and EVERY customer wh uses the second to last checkout by the loading bay. Shame on your management.

The Home Depot in Camillus always has a great selection and the store is well organized. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to point you in the right direction. Overall, it’s a reliable place to shop for anything you need for home projects.

I bought this item so that I would have all the pieces and that they were precut for me. It was a kit. However, I did not know that things marked on clearance were not readily available in the store or that their location was out of view for the customers.

Retail doesn't know what is customer service. Minimal human presence except when corporate people are in the store. You want 5 gold stars for being open? Oh, no I don't recommend any business to anyone. It isn't anything personal, it is who I am

We are currently building a new bakery behind our restaurant. We opened a commercial account to assist with our needs. Each time we've gone to the Pro desk to order we've had exceptional service and follow up. They really took some stress out of this monumental task. Thanks Jon & Ricky for the help!

They have a good stock and the staff are helpful. They often have a range of options if you are on a budget. For my work we are often building equipment or making use of some tools in a way other than for household use. The staff is great at providing ideas and not laughing aloud at our strange applications for normal hardware tools and supplies.

I purchased a head trimmer twice within 30 days. The second purchase, the item was on sale. I was told I could get the sales price but only if I had the receipt. When asked if they could look that up, I was told no. I left and looked online and that’s not true. I returned and this time an employee named Lisa took care of me. When explaining that I didn’t have the receipt, she said no problem and she looked up the item for me. She gave me the sales price and refunded me the difference. She was very professional and even told me to have a nice holiday as I walked out. Unlike the gentleman, the first time that just blew me off.

I gave a very thorough and detailed review, and do not wish to repeat myself, as I have already had to do a lot of footwork to receive a service that I did not receive. I have to go to the Camillus HD, AGAIN, to get a refund for a service not delivered. While I like general shopping at HD for in store items, online shopping for either pickup or delivery, and services given out to subcontractors, has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing. I would recommend the store for buying stuff like tools, plants, lawn and leaf bags, etc. Anything that requires help from an associate in the store is hit or miss. Advice can be either, “that’s not my department “ or “my personal opinion is…” or sometimes you get lucky and hear “let me find someone who knows more about this than I do!”. My advice is to do your research on what you want to buy before you go to the store .

I love the store in Camillus but the AC I bought there on 6/30 had already been opened, partly assembled, then disassembled, and repackaged expertly. Could see the cardboard tears on the inside, adhesive where should not have been, twist tie for hardware undone, other.

From the moment we began shopping for appliances, Lynn was an absolute superstar. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable about all of the options, but she also took the time to understand exactly what we needed. She answered every question with patience and expertise, guided us through all the features and models, and made sure we got the best value for our needs. Her attention to detail and genuine care made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Lynn went above and beyond in every way – I truly felt like we had a personal consultant by our side! On top of that, Lisa at the customer service desk was great. She was warm, efficient, and made the final steps of our visit stress-free and smooth. Her positive attitude and professionalism tied everything together and left us feeling incredibly well taken care of. It's rare to find such dedicated and friendly service, and both Lynn and Lisa exemplify what outstanding customer care should look like. Thank you to the entire Camillus Home Depot team – and especially to Lynn – for turning what could have been a stressful shopping experience into something genuinely enjoyable. I will definitely be returning and recommending this location to friends and family.

I bought a tool that was on sale for a great price.

Carpet is good but installers removed two screens on the 2nd floor without my knowledge to throw old carpet out the window instead of carrying it down the stairs. My older cat sits in those windows and could have fallen out since no screen protected him and I did not know. They said they would come the next day and they never did. It is very difficult to get those screens back in without a ladder that reaches the 2nd floor from the ground outside. They really had no right to remove my screens because it poses a safety issue for my cat. Now I have been waiting more than 3 days with no screens.

We bought mulch, potting soil and weed and feed. The products are superior and comparably priced.

Go see Lynn amazing customer service

The store was very well stocked but can be overwhelming. I have a hard time thinking of a time that I visited and did not end up asking an associate for instructions on finding an item. Thankfully associates are friendly, approachable and for the most part knowledgeable about what you have and where it is.

The main reason why I went to Home Depot was because a guy on UTube with 30 years of flooring experience gave the Life Proof lineup high marks. It was great that the employees were very helpful once I arrived at the store. Excellent service all around!
