Great customer service
Purchased an outdoor umbrella online from Home Depot but after putting it together, we were not happy with it. Talked with Customer Service and they said it would be no problem to return it. After boxing it up, Lexy at Customer Service was very helpful in returning the purchase. She then suggested another outdoor umbrella that was on clearance and it was exactly what we wanted and much nicer than the previous one we purchased. Lexy was very helpful and we left Home Depot very happy with our experience.

Great customer service
Lexy (sales cashier) at the customer service desk at Centerline Drive, Knoxville, TN was wonderful. He answered several questions we had, and expedited our checkout quickly. He was so nice even coming from behind the customer service desk to ask if I needed help while I was standing, waiting on my husband. Other reps on the floor were friendly, nice and helpful also.

Very annoying sales people
Almost every time i am at Home Depot someone asks me about my water quality. I usually can tell them i am not interested and they go away. The young lady today didn't seem to understand the term "I am not interested" The 3rd time i repeated it she actually said "I don't understand" I had to walk off to another section of the store to get away from her.

Very Poor Service at Check Out
We had a very good experience at this store until it came to the check out process. The cashier must have been having a very bad day and took her frustrations out on my wife and I. I was a bit slow getting items on the counter only because I am disabled, however the cashier was EXTREMELY rude to both my wife and myself

Most CASHIERS don't bother to say 'Thank You' !
Most CASHIERS don't bother to say 'Thank You' and if the says thank you to the cashier instead of saying oh THANK YOU, they generally reply 'No Problem' ! Almost seems like they thank they are doing us a favor to check us out ! AND same with FLOOR ASSOCIATES if 1 Helps & U say thank you they generally respond NO PROBLEM ! CUSTOMER SERVICE ALMOST A THING OF THE PAST !

Clean, friendly, and knowledgeable
Helping doers get more done had been true for us. We’ve been able to go in as novice diyers and be advised on plumbing, electrical, and installations. Returns have been easy, and we keep coming back because the workers are friendly and knowledgeable. The products are comparable prices with other home improvement stores, but we keep coming back because of the customer service. I also love Home Depots online resources. They have taught me how to tile, install new light switches, replace a faucet, etc.
