Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings cheerful sunshine. It's also a great time for lawn and garden work outdoors, organizing your home with the perfect storage, and setting up new appliances indoors. Be sure to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running only from 4/23 through 5/10. Don't miss out on these bargains.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your home. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes in the cracks, you could be dealing with damage.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
