**5-Star Review for Home Depot on Gunbarrel Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee** I recently had an outstanding experience at the Home Depot on Gunbarrel Road, thanks to my amazing sales associate, Melissa. I was in the market for a riding lawnmower and Melissa helped me find the perfect fit: the Murray MT 100, 42”, 13.5HP, 500cc model. What I truly appreciated was her exceptional customer service. Not only did she provide all the information I needed, but she also marked down the original price from $1799 to an incredible $1299, and to top it off, she arranged for free delivery! Melissa's knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile made my shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend this Home Depot location and Melissa specifically for anyone in need of home improvement products. Thank you for such fantastic service!

It’s gardening season and this store has a well stocked supply of healthy, well cared for plants and shrubs. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and their attention to detail was impressive.

I shop frequently shopped this location and they always provide great customer service no matter what the issues are and what The needs are miss Teresa at the service counter as well as Mr. John provided great customer service at this visit

Meets my needs most of time

I usually find what I need and do not have any concerns. Service is good. I will share as to why I do not use your competitor, which is adjust to this locale that being lack of customer service. It takes everybody to make a team and a great experience for the customer. Pass that thought down to the janitor.

Thanks to Jacob in lumber helping me cut some sheetrock so it would fit into my vehicle and Jeremy (Dept Manager?) for assisting me with obtaining the correct price on HVAC Air Filters after the Pro-register incorrectly rang up the wrong price.

Customer Service on the floor was very efficient. Robert, in charge of scheduling the Carpet Install was most helpful, extremely courteous and professional. The team who installed did a fantastic job.

Asked employee to help me with an item that was not available in assigned section on the shelf. I asked if he could check inventory to see if it may be in a carton on top shelf. He was with a customer and said he would be over to look when finished. I waited over 15 minutes....he forgot about me. Not a good shopping experience this trip.

Amy in the tile department was awesome! She was very friendly and answered all the questions we had with ease. Even helped us put our tile in our truck. She really made our shopping easy and a great experience!

I made my purchase nearly 6 months ago and 4 different times i was sent a defective replacement. I ran out of patience finally.

Most of the employees there are helpful and kind. You train them well.

Whatever you do, spare yourself the indignity, the hassle, the frustration of renting anything from this store. They couldn’t care less, they know they are incompetent and they seem to be proud of it. NEVER, EVER will I shop this store for anything, EVER. And thats after being a Pro Customer for 40 years.

The staff sucks, half of what you’re looking for won’t be in stock and if it is good luck finding it. Just drive the extra distance and go to Ft. O or the hixson store.

Return desk clerk was great. Quickly got my issue handled and another replacement ordered.

Customer service agents have no idea what the delivery policy is at HD. They did not offer any help when asked about renting a HD pickup truck to transport multiple larger products. I wasted nearly 30 minutes at the desk without receiving any solution for delivery.

Every year Home Depot piles on the flowers and plants and landscaping trees, bushes. There is so much at the store they never sell it all and within a short peroid of time you see them throwing lots and lots of mostly okay plants in the trash! And, God forbid you ask to save a plant or two... "You'll have to buy it." ? What?! You were just going to throw them away! And, they hide the dumpster so you can't go and get them there either. Waste.waste.waste.

The level of employees that were available to help was very reassuring to see. I was greeted by multiple employees. I needed a product that was locked and I scanned the QR and someone was there within 2 minutes. I typically done shop where items are locked up because of the hassle of finding someone, that was not my experience on this visit.

stock runs low and management from one of the managers is not in the spirit of helping.. the evening one is. Many times i drive to the next one where staff seem more happy about their jobs.

I like to buy my paper products and cleaning supplied from H.D. The prices are quite competitive with the other retailers. I also buy 100 % of all my appliances, stone masonry blocks and gardening supplies as well as using the lumber to build pens for my birds. I shop H.D. as versus their competitors for the same item because. H.D. is usually just a little cheaper which all adds up over time and I always get courteous help when I need it. I'm not treated as second class because I shop small compared to big contractors. The contractors are taken care of to be sure. This H.D. store knows I might be a small shopper but I always come back. BTW your competitors lost my business because they made me wait two hours simply to get some lumber loaded when the guys were all simultaneously taking a break and didn't want to help a senior female with a five minute load. Then I discovered some other great reasons to stick with H.D.! Flowers , veggies, lumber, trees, hardware, paper products and cleaning supplies, fuse panel parts that fit, and help in making selections that fit and help to figure out how to repair things, like my water heater and plumbing. My appliances I bought 5 years ago all work as well as the day I bought them. I have zero complaints about H.D.

I've found it hard to find anyone to ask questions or get assistance from. Instead, home Depot has installed signs with QR codes that you have to scan and send a request for someone to come help you! I needed some 12/2 wire and after scanning the QR code and following the prompts ended up waiting 10 minutes of assistance after doing this.
