Horrible service, nasty attitudes, no assistance … overhaul entire store

perfect for my job site

the customer service at Cheltenham home depot is the worst ever no help waited for 45 min trying to get a product off the top shelves after many calls over the store pa for assistance to get it no one ever came not to mention it was at the front of the store feet away from customer service, I ended up climbing to the top to get the product ive been waiting for someone to come get with a ladder,,,

The Cheltenham store has improved greatly since the last time I did some major remodeling. Most of the employees are now helpful and pleasant. There are still a few with "attitude" who can't be bothered, but much fewer than several years ago, when you couldn't find anyone who could help you, or who even cared. HD employees should like people and like helping them; otherwise, they should be working alone at a hidden desk. I've found some very nice help at Home Depot, and this is a great improvement. I have just moved to a house that is only 1 mile from this store, so this will be very convenient.

All the dmployees where rude and cold

The Cheltenham 4109 store employees are not Customer Service friendly. They act like they are too busy to help Customers with any concerns, but have time to chat with other employees. In addition HD don’t have enough employees working on any giving work shifts.

I shop here often, its ALWAYS extremely busy here. The staff at self checkout deserve a shout out. They are engaging and fun, very pleasant

Hello, I am a Home Depot costumer for a long time. At the below Home Depot today I was treated unfairly by the 2 women handling the self checkout. When I approached the end of the aisle to check out I asked which register is for cash sales as I am normally asked at many Home Depot’s. They said in a derogatory manner “well if you see a lane open on the screen go there” . After finding a screen that says lane open as I was checking out I’m hearing them say “they don’t read, they don’t look, they don’t scan themselves…” and some other words that I can’t remember now. They then ask the person who just showed up next to if he needed help (he had less items and didn’t ask for help) and the following customer if they had a credit card. This almost feels discriminatory. I hope that you can review your customer service policy on how they should be treated to these employees.

Although it was a little faster with the new self service option it hard to find help looking for what I needed

I went to the Cheltenham Home Depot in need of information regarding a refrigerator purchase, representative Sherry provided me all of the information needed to make an educated and perfect decision on my purchase, thank you Sherry!

I use this store for most of my home needs

Shopping at this Home Depot for me is peaceful, relaxing kind of like my home away from home no pun intended Home Depot😉

Staff doesn’t seem to want customers. I always get a feeling I’m bothering them with a question. At service desk they’re speaking to eachother constantly and I feel like I’m inteeeuptinh to get help.

I purchase a air humidifier. The manager at home depot was very helpful.His name was trace, I just wanted to acknowledge him. This is the good work that he's done. Thank you very much, Trey. I really appreciate your help.

I always shop at 4109 store and I love it

I don't know her name but the woman in the paint department was extremely helpful, kind and patient with me and I greatly appreciated that. Thad a few questions and she took her time and not only answered them but made sure I understood.

I bought a garbage disposal, but had to return it. The gentleman that helped me pick out the right disposal was so helpful and kind. I appreciate the young woman that took the disposal out of the cart without me asking. She would've never known my arm was hurting. Her kindness was very much appreciated!!

Drive the extra 15 minutes and go to any other location. I placed a split online order, went to Cheltenham location first of course the order wasn't ready after waiting in line for over 30 minutes. Left because the order wasn't ready, ok no problem. I then drive to the willow grove store where my order was ready right away everyone was beyond helpful. I then drive back over to the Cheltenham location only for them to tell me again the order still had been pulled... so I wait and wait and an hour goes by.. at this point I attempted to go find the items myself throughout the store. Total time for waiting for them to "pull my order" was almost 3 hours.

Too bad that almost all the checkouts are now self-service; I really dislike them and will stand in line as long as I need to avoid self-checkout. Otherwise the store meets my needs and the staff are helpful.

I needed help buying shower faucets & shower hose. The staff was very helpful with my selection and gave me tips on installation. I also had carpet questions and the representative sat down with me & explained the most cost effective approach.

Whenever I need something that pertains to repairing a home or adding an addition for anything I always think of Home Depot. It makes me happy to know that they have everything they've thought of everything before I got there so when I forget something it's right nearby what I actually went to go pick up because they know it's something else that you need if you're going to buy that. I love that about them the customer service impeccable everyone is very friendly and helpful and they want to genuinely help you thank you for training them so well.

For many years, the Home Depot of Wyncote has been fine for us.

You always see reviews that are negative but being I am an assistant manager in retail muself I find it necessary also give recognition and praise to employees. This was my first time at this location and it was quite a distance from my home but had a specific snowblower that I was so desperately seeking. To the cashier and the floor associate to whom helped me...a big thank you! You made my purchasing experience at your location enjoyable. They were friendly polite and engaging which is a very rare unfortunately at other Home Depot locations.

I came in to purchase 5-gallon buckets and left with lots of discounted plants that I can use with my gardening club at school. I am very pleased!

Wasn’t real happy with the gentleman in the appliance area.. Had a know it all personality and charged me for something I didn’t ask for.
