Home Depot online and Home Depot stores, like someone else that they won't let me mention on here, are two separate operations even though online orders are likely to be filled from store stock. Due to freezing conditions we have been without running water at home for 7 days - looking at several more. I have been melting ice from our driveway on the stove to use for flushing. Ice is gone, water is on at our business, so I decide to buy buckets, fill them here for flushing at home. HD has a 3 bucket deal online. Went to the local store to buy. Was told that you have to order online to get the deal - even though the order would be filled from buckets and lids on the floor. Raina was very nice and tried to help me get that deal, but she was told I had to order so they would be shipped to the store in a 3 pack. I seriously doubt it happens that way, but I was there when she was given that just-get-him-outta-here answer. She did her best. I did my best. Bought 4 at regular price rather than 6 at the deal price. Should have just gone by that other place that is my way home rather than out of my way to get HD's no-deal deal.

Any employee who makes a customer feel welcome and valued is an asset to your store and keeps difficulties, like not finding sufficient quantities of product on the shelf, from spoiling an otherwise good shopping experience.

I don’t like writing negative comments, but this store needs more staffing available for its clients. I shop at this particular location only because this is my contractor’s store of choice. And if a customer tell an employee that an item is on the shelf , but the employee is saying it’s not available or what the computer is saying, why can’t that employee go and look for themselves ???? It just would have made for a little less stressful situation. Thank You
