I had a great experience because I had the best helper ever. His name was Doug and he made sure I got what I needed and he wanted to make sure I was happy and even helped me out to my car. I have never had anyone be that helpful before. Thanks Doug you were wonderful to work with. Ginny

I can't imagine other Home Depots are not operated in this manner. First the store is always organized and I see people stocking product every time. Yes its a busy store , but that is because of the great service and I am willing to deal with that. Aside from it being close to my home it is the staff that makes this Home Depot my second home ( a little cheesy) , but from hugging the staff to getting that firm hand shake every morning to having Fran's strong coffee that reminds me of my visit to HD in my younger days, these people have actually become my Home Depot family. I can always walk in and know that if I need a product, or assistance, or advice on a specific item or subject I just have to ask. Thank you Costa Mesa staff for being your best and treating me like family. To the new people working here you are in the right place if you want to have people you can count on.

Store has good managers and great employees. It really matters when you need assistance.

I received excellent help from a knowledgable professional on my simple wood project.

A very knowledgeable man in Lighting helped me save a valuable lamp by telling me, then showing me, how to replace a 3-way socket switch. He went above and beyond my expectations and I went home with a lamp that worked! I also got some new kind of light bulbs that will last a very long time. I walked out of Home Depot a very happy customer! Associates like B---- are the reason that I shall continue to shop at the Costa Mesa Home Depot! The cashier who rang me up was very personable and friendly. I walked out with a smile on my face!

I recently had a project I needed to complete and went to the Costa Mesa Home Depot for supplies. I had a picture of the project and showed it to an associate in the lumber department. He was so helpful with assisting me in finding the lumber and cutting it to the specifications, hardware and other miscellaneous items I needed for the completion of the project. Thank you for the fantastic customer service I was provided. It helped make my project a fun one!

The sales associates in the lumber department were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. I was constructing a cat door and ramp and Dave worked with me to firm up the design and dimensions. He was patient, suggested material options, and helped me stay within my budget. That interaction was one of the best experiences I've had seeking help from an associate in a hardware store.

Stocks almost everything you might need. Staff is helpful and seems genuinely wanting to make your time there productive

After returning one thing and finding the staff very pleasant and helpful, we went on and purchases some replacement ceiling fan light bulbs. Our previous ones were made in Hungary and burned out surprisingly quickly. These were made in Hungary, too, but we're giving them one more chance. The Costa Mesa store is bigger than one closer to home, so the selection is better. Staff were never far away in case we had questions, which we didn't this trip. We shop this store and two others and find a very good experience at all three.

The store is always well stocked and clear of clutter in the isles for the most part except for the holiday season.

Every department is represented well but the Pro Desk checker "Jimmy" definitely stands out. He puts the customer first in so many ways. Fast service, helpfulness, energetic, thoughtfulness are the first things that come to mind. I would like to thank the management team for putting together such a great place to shop.

Sometimes during projects I can go to this store 3 times a week. Each time, I'm approached by some nice, meaningful Solar City rep. I did not wish to investigate Solar, i do not like being solicited as a shopper, don't follow me down the aisle, please leave me alone!! If i was there once every 6 weeks, I could tolerate it, but 3 or 4 times in a week? I don't need to hear about your amazing product EVERY SINGLE visit. I even chose the aisles I walk down to avoid them, BUT they wander the store. Tonight, the same guy approached me twice!!! FTW? I've seen other pitch guys before for HVAC and stuff, and they keep to their place, but not Solar City...this is a negative campaign in my book. UGH!!!

Needed a Christmas Tree Disposal bag. No Bags available. They guided me to the Paint department and I purchased a plastic sheet. In addition, they allowed me to check out at the Service Desk and provided a 2.00 discount for my inconvenience. Very Friendly, Professional and helpful! Thank You Kelley and Linda.

This women with a unusual fur head piece was just getting off the shift. She didn't mind and walked me to the area I needed, dispensing advice along the way. She was awesome. I will try to find her again.
