Alex in flooring is definitely the go-to person if you have questions or concerns on carpeting. I was so impressed with her professional customer service. She took me through the entire sale.

I started off with a bad experience, but things turned around. I stopped in for an item but could not find it on my own. It showed in-stock online, so I went to customer service to ask for assistance and a woman there pointed to an area and told me very frankly, that if the item isn't over there, then they don't have it. I had checked that area already, so I didn't challenge that, and just said thanks and left. The next day I went to another Home Depot and found they were out of stock too. I looked online and the item still showed in-stock at this Council Bluffs Home Depot. So I decided to call and see. The customer service rep I spoke to now was very helpful and confirmed she also sees their inventory shows it in-stock. So she connected me to Jim in the Garden Dept. Jim knew exactly what I was looking for and explained that the item was not in the area I was pointed to on my first visit. He even went the extra mile and physically located the item to confirm it was in stock and provided exact directions for me to find it. While my experience was not perfect, I definitely want to give the second customer service rep and Jim the credit they deserve for being so nice and helpful.

The store was clean and still had most of it's stock even after most of the Black Friday rush was done. I was assisted by Nate who did a fantastic job of assisting me find what I was having trouble looking for. He was extremely helpful and persistent.

The store is always clean and associates are always available to help. I can always find what I need and checkout is quick and associates are very polite, friendly and helpful. I've purchased a lot of paint over the years and Home Depot is my "go to" for all home improvement needs. Other stores you have to hunt someone down to get assistance. I never have to wait in a long line to check out.

We got what we needed. Employees very helpful.

It is Home Depot, so you will most likely find everything you need but for some specialty items you might need to go to a bigger one in Omaha.

I just wish they got are measurements right I do not like having to go back because of there mistake and have to go to customer service and go threw all that

Young employees don't want to help customers. I don't need an eyeroll when I want help. I don't want a young man telling me it's only 10 pounds so I can get it myself and put it in my cart myself - it was a fire pit and big and bulky. Put it in my SUV??!!! God no!!! Today, I won't recommend this store. Usually, although it's difficult to find someone to help, they are helpful when finally located. Don't ask a young man to get up off the chair by the entrance and walk 20 feet to pick up a fire pit and put it in your cart. You'll get attitude. Bad parenting! My kids know not to treat any adult with a disrespectful attitude. That's certainly not a good attitude in retail. Any other day, I would have given a little higher rating. Never excellent because it's always hard to find someone to help.

Went to Home Depot today, purchased the refrigerator i had previously viewed on-line, on sale. Jack helped with the on-line order, delivery, haul away, and also applied my 10% discount. All in much less than one hour!

Needed corrugated drainage pipe to divert water from downspout so ordered online. I overestimated how much I would need so associate Henry helped me find couplers to fit my downspouts and accommodate a smaller diameter pipe. He went above and beyond to help. What I got will work better than my original plan and is more cost effective! He and all the associates were so friendly and patient. Store was clean and organized and I appreciate requirement to wear masks for everyone's safety.

Great store with unbelievable employees...They actually seem to enjoy their job and want to help. Very helpful and knowledgable. This visit, in particular, was great. Special kudos to Nate along with Jim from plumbing.

worst experience ever, 46 days for a dishwasher install and had to have my own plumber do the work

Just knowing that every time I visit we always get excellent customer service. The employees are very knowledgeable and always take us to the aisle to find what we are looking for.

This is the only home improvement store I will shop at in CB. Customers get to decide if they want to wear masks or not and that's big for me! I have always had great experiences here. I highly recommend this store

THE COUNCIL BLUFFS STORE HAS EMPLOYEES THAT WILL HELP YOU, EXPLAIN THINGS AND GO THE EXTRA DISTANCE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CORRECT. THEY ARE PATIENT AND WANT TO HELP YOU WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. THEY PROVIDE EXTRA CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I was looking for a plastic 5 shelf storage unit and there was only one left in stock. The employee, Alex, who was helping me saw that it wasn't in it original package and a little scuffed. She said she could take a little off the price if I still wanted it. It was a pleasant surprise!

The store had everything we needed and we were in contact with 4 different members of your staff and they could not have been any nicer or helpful to us. We could tell that the employees wanted to be of help and that they enjoyed working at Home Depot.
