Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale?

The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is back and better than ever. Save big on lawn and garden as well as outdoor power equipment, then update your grill and patio furniture so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so don't miss it.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature shifts by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

Did It Myself
I saved lots of money doing most projects myself. No one else to blame, but myself.

    Great Employee engagement
I was assisted by Store manager Colleen and Assistant manager Darvin in getting a pressure washer for my fleet of cargo vans. Thanks for the customer service and getting me back on the road ASAP...

      Excellent Service
I need a wet vac but the one I want it wasn’t on the shelf. I asked one of the ladies if they could get one from the top. Shoot got a gentleman with a big ladder and he got it down. But the box was opened he said there was another one but he had to go get a hook to get it down. While he got the Hook the lady got me the Home Depot bucket and use the open box and placed the wet vac head on the bucket to make sure it fit. They were both so nice. I had my dog with me on a leash and they made my dog feel welcomed too. As I was carrying the bucket in the box to the self-checkout another gentleman got the box and help me check out. He even offered to help me to the car I have the dog with me. Everyone was so kind and as I was leaving I decided to put the packages in the car and go look in the garden area. And as I was checking out a garden nice cashier offered me a cold bottle water for my dog. I wish I could tell you everyone’s names but they were fantastic.

        Love my local crew!
Brandon, Paul, Stacy (male) and two other women in this location are ALWAYS EXEMPLARY EMPLOYEES. They are so kind when I go to my local store. Not just these people that I named, but every associate in the store. I learn a new name every time I go and it is because I enjoy having conversations with them, they are willing to assist me, and they are always smiling. Thank you all for your kindness and wonderful customer service.

          Great Employees.
I recently started my first DIY landscaping project and quickly realized I had a lot to learn! The team at this store was a lifesaver. Everyone I spoke with was extremely helpful and patient, no matter how many questions I asked. I left feeling fully prepared to get the job done right. Thank you for such wonderful customer service!

I do like this Home Depot
I went to Home Depot for air filters for my heat system, 18 x 20 x 1 they didn't have them at this location, however, a wonderful employee who walks around helping every time I come in helped me order them online. The filters came in 2 days. They also kept me informed step by step when they were ordered, shipped and when they would be delivered. I really liked this process. I will continue to shop at Home Depot.

Beware of the guy at Customer Service... He is Condescending to Females!
The Customer Service guy is rude, snarky, and condescending to female customers. He seems annoyed with his job and was less than pleasant to encounter. However, the Garden Center employees are always cheerful and welcoming!

                  Knowledgeable People Eager To Help
I just wanted to thank Ray & Regina at the Covington store for all their help in finding everything that I needed for my water heater installation project. They even knew a couple of items that I wasn’t aware of that I needed to complete my project. Thank you. Joseph from Covington

My daughter and I were helped by one of the managers at this location. His name was Nathan, and there should be more people in this world like him.
