Best store in the area

Associate approached me upon entering the store asking if I needed any help finding anything today. I did. He directed me straight to the product.

The Danbury homedepot is the best one. people are helpful and friendly and usually everything is in stock

Something is broken with the culture of this store. After 3 visits to this store to buy one item. The item was on a riser and no one could lower it. I thought it was crazy. A few employees wanted to help but weren't empowered. I spoke to a manager he didn't care about my concern. 3 visits and about 10 different employees to buy one item. It was very ineffective for me and Home Depot.

Great store friendly staff easy access to merchandise

The store sold me a product that was already opened and installed and missing pieces. Then the assistant store manager said he would get a new install scheduled and I have never heard back from him since he told me that. I had to go to the store and wait in line to get a refund after it taking 10 minutes of the phone just ringing before someone picked up. I was already on the way to the store with the phone ringing. The assistant store manger was nice but not helpful in anyway since I now have a garage door sitting on the floor and its not installed.

Always check prices compared to online. We bought a safe that had no price on it. I looked it up while in the store. It said $159.99. Went to self checkout and it said $199.99. The staff said “oh yeah prices are different online.” A quick search online shows that I was apparently the last person to know about this, it’s standard Home Depot ridiculousness. Lowe’s does not engage in this foolishness and will price match their website. Buyer beware.

The Danbury Homedepot store has created an easy to adapt shopping experience, even at this Covid-19 pandemic period. I felt safe shopping around the floors throughout my 1.5 hrs shopping.

I like going to Home Depot because I know where everything is. Plus they have an excellent food truck right outside.

Safety and distancing were immediately apparent. Staff was helpful and the return process was super simple. Today's visit could not be beat.

I did store curbside pickup and it was awesome. i dealt with Christian and he was great, Friendly and eager to help me first thing in the am! place is clean and felt very safe during this time!

This is one of the best Home Depot’s in the area. Their garden center is bigger and offers a better variety of supplies needed for your garden or lawn. The staff is always polite and incredibly helpful.

The layout out of the store is very simple and easy to find whatever you need. The staff is also very willing to help and friendly and stores product inventory is always up to par and stocked

Home Depot Danbury has been stocking their shelves with just what I needed and that included cleaning supplies, hooks and fasteners for picture hanging after repainting several rooms. We are staying busy with house repairs and updating our "home sanctuary". Home Depot has helped us do just that economically and efficiently.

Great job by Gordon in the refund area. Very responsive, friendly and polite. He kept the line moving and was fast to acknowledge me. Kudos to Gordon!

Very smooth return of product in the early hours of the day to minimize Covid exposure to a vulnerable senior citizen. Anwar and Diane were very helpful in expeditiously handling the required personal store visit to make my return.

Smaller (at least it seems smaller) than my past “regular” HD in Wallingford, CT but it always seems to have what I need. The people are always friendly and the store is always clean.

Here's to everyone on social media. Appreciate the store associates and the time they put in to give you the opportunity to shop local. Don't forget to thank them as well! The items were on the shelves and in order. The store is neat and clean by efforts of the associates and the respectful customers.

When my mom and I went in, we were so confused because we had seen a problem online but we didn't know where to find it. It was outdoor storage but not in the gardening center. Initially, we ran into James, twice. The first time he helped us out so much but the initial product didn't work. The second time we stumbled upon him again and he helped us even more. He put a sold sign on the storage compartment and gave me the SKU and everything. He was so nice! An amazing associate as all were.

Wasted my time trying to pick up an item that showed they he'd 28 in stock but associates were unable to find it.

Good garden selection. Would make more trips if it expands its indoor plants collection, eg, orchids, carnivores plants, etc.

if you speak spanish your ok there. if u speak english, dont go...3 people in the whole store speak english. bring a translator. or wait 1/2 hour till they get a english speaking person. english speaking people in this store get ignored !!! they look at you and say no comprende. this store is in danbury ct or the USA. this store is not in brazil, or mexico, but u better know brazilian, or spanish, otherwise your not getting any help. home depot pays mexicans less per hour there. its all about money at home depot.

This store is cluttered with merchandise in the isles. One has a hard time getting to the product on the shelves. Additionally, the self check out lines is complete chaos with no staging area/waiting area to wait for the next available self checkout. I will be shopping at other hardware stores in the future.

Had a great experience at home depot today.
