    Kind Workers
    I purchased a washer/dryer combo and then had to return it in exchange for a washer. MJ was helpful throughout the whole process, the staff, movers and management were also very kind and courteous. Very grateful for my experience and would recommend this store to all my family, friends and church!

      Price,location and availability
      I bought 30 bags of dark bark mulch from Home Depot in Danvers recently. I applied the mulch around my house and noticed after a couple of days the mulch turned a light color. I went to the store with my receipt and pictures and the manager gave me credit for the amount that discolored without any issue. Excellent customer service

          not the cleanest but acceptable
          I use about 20 home depots and as many other box stores in almost as many states. this allows me to base this store off many experiences. the parking lot is horribly lined by the garden centre-and in my opinion deadly unsafe-it really is only one lane unless you break the law and drive in the fire lane. the inside is generally a solid C for cleanliness and clutter. as Americans we are driven to the lowest price and therefore often put up with less safe and enjoyable surroundings while companies do the least to keep the doors open knowing we bend to the price and convince factors.

            Exceptional Customer Service
            I had an amazing experience at the Danvers location! I was helped by two outstanding employees who were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also warm, friendly, and eager to help. Even though the item I needed wasn’t in stock, they went above and beyond to find it for me at another location so I wouldn’t leave empty‑handed. Their kindness and dedication turned what could have been a frustrating trip into a truly enjoyable visit. Five stars for their exceptional service!

                  I’ve had some bad experiences with lack of employee assistance in the past. This visit was different as an employee name of Ryan took me through the entire buying process pointing out each item location I needed and doing all the heavy lifting and loading. Very nice guy. He should be commended for his performance.

                    Great Store Manager - Exceptional Customer Service!
                    We are lucky to have the wonderful Home Depot staff at the Danvers East #2623, in Danvers, MA. I had the pleasure of meeting the store manager, Cesar. He is wonderful - customer focused, a great listener (to his staff and customers) and caring. What an exceptional manager. I am grateful for his exceptional customer service - he is a star on the Home Depot team. I also have to recognize Chris W, who went to great lengths to help me fit a grill into the back of my SUV. It missed fitting in by inches, so what did Chris do? He got a Phillips-head screw driver, disassembled the side table extension, handed me the four screws with spacers, and got a colleague to help him put it in my trunk scratch-free. Chris is another customer service standout who truly cares. I heard him say to a number of customers, "I'm happy to help." He embodies this spirit and is the type of staff member who should be recognized and promoted. Thank you, Cesar and Chris!

                                Project went Smoothly from Beginning to End!
                                The staff at the Home Depot were so helpful and made the whole process of our new floor installation a breeze. Great communication throughout and everything delivered and installed on schedule.

                                  Single worst shopping experience I've ever had
                                  This is the single worst experience I've ever had. I came to buy carpet off the roll. First I put in my order at the store with an associate, he called me to tell me the carpet actually wasn't in stock and I needed to pick a new carpet, then he called me back and told me they found it, then I had it delivered and it was not the right size I called to complain and the MANAGER told me that they dont even cut carpet the way i want them to. I needed to return it. I brought the carpet to home depot by myself in my car even though I thought it would be so big I'd need it delivered. After returning it, I was left in flooring by myself. A nearby employee called over flooring twice. Once we figured out the size and kind of carpet and waiting another 15 minutes for another associate to show up they cut the carpet THE WAY I WAS TOLD THEY COULDNT. The flooring associates were very helpful and kind. Then my carpet was delivered on a flatbed trunk in the rain on pallets. The pallets were left in my driveway and the driver said "they should have had this delivered in a box truck" when I called to complain they said the system wouldn't allow them to update it to a box truck... can you not just use your whole body and voice to just call a box truck and have it delivered?

                                    They have good products in store, but if you have to ask a question, or get help (ie: having an employee unlock an item), it will usually take persistence & patience!!!

                                      wonderful experience
                                      I visited the store and was greeted by a couple associates. They guided me to where I needed to be. Picked up my items -off to the register where I was greeted by the store manager, nice touch. Service at the register was quick and seamless. i might add the store was very clean and well organized.

                                          This particular Home Depot is often lacking in product, personnel has no idea how to answer pertinent questions (if you can actually locate personnel. This is not to say they are not friendly but knowledge he’s a long way.

                                            I paid $50 to have someone come to my house and mesure for them. That was on 2/11/25… I was supposed receive a phone call in up to 24-48 hours. It’s now the 18th of February.. I have not heard from anyone.. couldn’t reach a person, so I left a message. No one had reached out to me!

                                              I have been going to the Danvers, Ma Home Depot store for the past 24 years which I have lived here and am constantly disappointed by the lack of availability and lack of assistance provided by the staff. I have visited the Home Depot in Stuart, Fl where I vacation and was highly impressed at how the staff provided help in both searching for items and providing recommendations. So I know it is possible for the Danvers store to improve.

                                                  My refrigerator stopped running.
                                                  Don't buy a refrigerator at Home Depot because delivery date is way to long. Bought it on 11/02/24 it will be delivered on 12/15/24. Thanksgiving's coming with out refrigeration.

                                                          Terrible Management extremely rude and hostile to repeat customers.
                                                          The store managers are terrible at Danvers East, they lack customer service training, rude, lazy, hostile, and talk condescending and make excuses to customers. They refuse Home Depot sales receipt from others stores give you a hassle tell you go to that store. They do not wish help customers in-store and avoid you. If you ask for a manager they upset to be called to deal with customer issues. They refuse to honor in-store promotions listed in store and online offers. They make customers feel unwanted and upset leaving you waking out. The assistant manager Travis should be fired always angry towards customers and was disrespectful to Military Veteran and made disrespectful comments causing a scene in store for other employees and customers to witness.
