How do I lessen window draftiness?

As the years pass, windows settle and may not fit as snugly as they did before. Check if they're drafty by bringing stick of incense to the window. If you can see the smoke swirl around the window, that shows you where cold air is getting in. Fill obvious spaces around windows with caulk. If your windows aren't snug in the frames anymore, use foam tape, weather stripping, or even a window insulation kit with sealing film to keep out cold air. Replace the windows as soon as possible.

What can I work on when it's cold outside?

In colder climates, it's challenging to work out in the elements. However, it may be an opportune time to clean up your indoor workspaces and house instead. An afternoon organizing and cleaning the shed or garage will pay off when the weather warms. You won't have to replace lost tools because you can find what you've got. Polish up the tools, clean the rest of the house with cleaning tools, and you'll be ready when it's planting time.

How can chainsaws help with tree and yard cleanup?

If you've got scrap wood and pallets sitting in the weeds, cut them into pieces with a chainsaw in the spring so you can get rid of them or store the wood for later use. Spring is a good time to organize the firewood pile and trim any broken tree branches too. Before firing up your Homelite chainsaw, ensure that the chain isn't dull or rusted and that it's been oiled. Then, while wearing the proper safety equipment, use your electric or gas chainsaw to cut the wood. Make evenly sized pieces for effective storage.

Who doesn’t like buying paint when Kathleen’s there?!

Kathleen has been wonderful every single time we visit the paint section, she knows her stuff! Just adore her! Barb was so funny when checking is out, even though it was self check out…. She just grabbed the cart and helped us instead of how people normally stand around…. Not Barb! She was so amazing! Always shop here and always coming back!

Love this store

This store is great! I’ve been going here for YEARS! from the cashier from years ago Roy, to the current employees Michael March…. Or MnM (that’s what I’m going to call him from now on!) lol i love the clearance section too, it’s always a little extra surprise i didn’t need to buy but would stumble upon! Love that they’re around the corner!

Friendly Checkout- Rude Paint Department

I went there to get some help on a project for my work and the entire time I was speaking to the woman in the paint department she was so rude and short with me. I am not a professional and I would expect employees in her position to be willing to help, but maybe I am wrong. I have been to this specific location many times over the years for help with choosing the right paint and I have never had such a bad experience before.
