I visit the University Park store on a regular basis. It is the best store to find what you need, but most noteworthy, is their team of employees who are extremely knowledgeable and always ready to go the extra step to be helpful and get you exactly what you need. I have come to know many of them by name and no matter what I need, whether just an answer to a simple question or help with selecting and cutting wood for a specific project, they are always ready to help!

I would like to recognize Kathleen in the paint department for providing extraordinary service in 3 previous trips to this store in the month of August. Kathleen helped me by darkening a gallon of Behr Ceiling paint that did not match my existing ceiling color. Kathleen was patient and helpful in asking questions and providing a solution to my problem. She took great care in gradually darkening the ceiling paint until an exact match was obtained and gave me several suggestions regarding paint in general that demonstrated a depth of knowledge on her part and a level of caring not often seen in the retail industry. Kathleen is an exceptional employee who should be acknowledged for providing the kind of customer experience that strongly encourages customer loyalty and positive customer references.

Was raining today and I was the only person in the lawn & garden. Cid was the CS working and what a delight! Spent time assisting me, chatting with me, offer to get me plastic for my car, umbrella for the rain, had an actual blast with her over lawn care, life and rain drivers LOL. As a business owner, I would hire her FYI lol. This HD is not my reg location but will be more so now due to Cid... xoxox

These days we have very few options for buying appliances and Home Depot makes the process simple and quick.

Home Depot was our first choice for any of our home improvement needs but I am sad to say we will no longer be a customers if we are not taken care of by corporate. We spent $6k on new carpet which was advertised to be installed in 7 BUSINESS DAYS or LESS. The carpet was paid for on August 1st and the installation was scheduled for August 10th. The installation provider called my wife and said they were on the way and would arrive within the hour. An hour later they called her and said they could not do the install that day because they just unrolled the carpet and it was defective. Now please tell me how they unrolled the carpet and checked it if they were already on the way. My wife had to drive 45min to our new home with our two young children just to be lied to and then not have our carpet installed. Then we were told that new carpet was ordered, expedited and would arrive in the warehouse August 14th and they scheduled our install for August 15th. Guess what, the carpet never arrived and they cancelled our installation. We have our movers scheduled to move us into our new home on August 16th & 17th, and now we have to move into our new home without our new carpet that was promised 7 BUSINESS DAYS or LESS. Both times I went to the Home Depot store to discuss this situation with a manager I waited over an hour to speak with Artie Trotter your Assistant Manager. The store manager offered us $1k off the carpet and then proceeded to tell my wife that if they had to move any furniture that cost would be deducted from the $1k. There would not have been ANY furniture in the house if they would have followed through on the 7 BUSINESS DAYS or LESS. Fast forward to today, the carpet has still not arrived, and we still do not have an installation date.

A high percentage of the time i find what I need,great store and location for me, Home Depot does a great job in their hiring practices,in my opinion.

I found the item I was looking for immediately. The store was clean and the cashier was friendly and competent.

Love this store!! I am not the fixer upper type of girl but when I go here everyone gives me the confidence to be able to handle any home repiar. If you need paint, see Kathleen. Matches paint swatches to the T. Exceptional! Unbeleiveable! Always wears a smile! If you need great customer service, see Melissa...awesome, friendly. Always willing to help in any way she can.

Shopped University store and had a great experience. Although I could not find many associates to help in some departments I managed to find what I needed and went to the service desk for assistance. Kristie at the service desk rocks! She handled my transactions with a smile and was very knowledgeable and professional. She did not rush me and she understood what I needed. Thank You Kristie!

This store sold me 4 bags of wet, rotting,decaying, wormy, disgusting mulch! Unfit for resale! Why was it loaded on my vehicle? Why does Home Depot store their mulch outside with no cover?...esp w/ all this rain? I was very inconvenienced! I had opened the bags hoping it might dry out.....not likely...too much decay! Beware customer! Although I must give the store associate credit for offering to load my car.

This store has great associates, it is clean and an open environment to shop. I have had great service here and several of the associates there are excellent. The garden, kitchen, and flooring departments are very good.

Some of the best management that Home Depot can provide. I always look forward to finding all my Home Improvement needs within~!
