Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment and our communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

Do you offer Halloween skeletons or witches that move?
Yes, we carry many options of Halloween decor that make sound and/or movement. Our Halloween animatronics bring spooky characters to life. Bring the scare level of a haunted house to your own home. This includes current favorites like Skelly, the 12-foot skeleton, and Dean the Deathologist, a dapper bartender. For more drama, use a fog machine or two to hide the animatronics until they start to roar.
Why should I get a generator?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
What home repairs should I make before winter?
Ready your home for colder weather by replacing any faulty or broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be looking at trouble. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing panels or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, change chimney caps and vinyl siding if they're damaged.
What storage solutions do you offer?
As you prepare for the holidays, stow what you don't need to enjoy extra space. Shoe racks and other storage bins remove summer belongings from the equation. Garage cabinets keep tools, decorations, and more out of the way. Shield fragile items with moving blankets. If you need even more room, a new shed can give you the space you've dreamed of.
How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?
Home Depot gift cards are a popular choice for birthdays, housewarming parties, and the holidays. DIYers know they're fun to receive and to give. You can purchase them at our stores or online at homedepot.com. If you're a recipient, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Use our gift cards to shop online or redeem them in-store, all with no additional fees.
