The main reason i shop here when I do, is their hours, including weekends and their being conveniently located (tho the traffic exiting the parking lot counters that plus many times). Employees i have had help loading my material into my vehicle have been very helpful, professional and friendly. Employees in the lumber dept have been helpful in loading heavy boards onto my cart if/ when they are available. However, there doesn't seem to be anything quick about a trip to this store except for employees who want to be done and get away.. Employees typically aren't very helpful when you're looking for something and most times send you on a wild goose chase. this seems to be more a lack of knowledge coupled with not wanting to try too hard. Lumber prices are missing a lot of the time and sometimes ring up differently than marked when there is a price. It's really hit and miss with the employees, some are really good representatives of the store and some are really bad. I would add that there are too many employees who appear to be idle when you're trying to find some help but are too husy to help you. Along with there seems to be a loss of employees who actually know the products and their uses. If time is money, best to invest it elsewhere. Their prices don't compensate for the lack of customer service and the time it takes to get in and get out. I hate to say it but geeze it's getting to be like going to another store we loathe, UGH!!

This location has very informed employees. Great, clean store.

Need to have more self checkout lanes open if that is my only options. Other than that, I love the store

This was my first visit to this location. I was helped right away in the plumbing department. This store seemed much larger and better stocked than the one closest to my home in SC. They had everything I needed that the other location didn't.

So I went to the Home Depot because they carry Ryobi tools. I noticed they had a couple of sales on them. If you purchased one of their newer brushless tools you got a bag/charger/and two batteries for free. I looked at the flyer and realized I had all the tools they were selling. I asked the customer service if they could ask a manager if I could purchase a different Ryobi tool that was in the same price point and still get the deal. The associate talked to someone one the phone who I assume was a manager and she said they could not make substitutions if it wasn’t on the flyer. Too bad, sale lost, customer disappointed. I ended up purchasing a Ryobi Random Orbital Sander but it took me a little while to find where the sandpaper discs were since the display gave no indication and it wasn’t intuitive.

I recently moved to Savannah and was looking for a home improvement store. Since Home Depot is from Georgia I thought it would be the place to go. I found myself getting frustrated and disappointed. I was frustrated because I was having a hard time finding the products I was looking for. I was looking for picture hangers and I was looking in the painting section, the interior section and finally found them near the nuts and bolts. Also, while I was looking at lamps there was no one around to help me. As it got closer to closing it seemed there were a lot of associates walking around but I got little or no eye contact or no acknowledgement. I also saw several associates standing around talking to other associates or on their cell phones and that was very frustrating.

The store was clean and the employees are friendly, they will also assist you in finding the items that you are looking for. They will not leave you until you find it or they will suggest something else

Customer service by Ryan was spot on!

There ARE knowledgeable and friendly employees at this store, but you have to hunt to find them. Be prepared to get turned away by at least a half-dozen employees who cannot or will not help before you find that gem. I was unable to get any help in lumber--not to load, just to fetch more material from above--and finally just left what was on the floor after an hour. I ordered the rest on line and then picked up, per recommendation from the cashier, who was the one customer-focused person I could find but was evidently unable to leave the cashier station...

Nice clean and organized. Pleasant, helpful sales associates.

So thankful for the employees that are helpful. when it’s a hectic and beyond exhausting day, sterling wright and the guys in lumber are more than willing to lend a helping hand

Employees were eager to help, friendly, everyone asked if I needed assistance, answered all questions. Shopping at this store was a pleasure.

The lady at returns, Carol, was terrific. Personality plus! I don’t like to return items but when I do it’s comforting to know that a Home Depot associate like Carol is there to make the transaction pain free.

The online order and pickup service is great. It is so fast and efficient and makes my job easier. We have really enjoyed working with them on our personal home remodel. If I do need something in store, or have a question, the team is very helpful is making sure my questions are answered and I find the products I need.

The store is always busy. There are a lot of Pros that shop there. parking is a challenge. walking is as well. right in front of the Pro parking there is not a crosswalk from the Pro parking to to store. Some vehicles fail to yield. it was be great to have a cross walk there.

Samantha in the returns department is so awesome! She is always super helpful and knowledgeable! It’s nice to have a go route person in any store so you k ow you’ll get the best service every time you go!

I usually have a good experience at The Home Depot, today Carol at customer service desk was something else. She extra on everything but doing her job. She acted as if she mad that she had job.

All the associates are very helpful and willing to listen.
