Shopping at Home Depot have saved me tons of headaches, over the years!!!

Brian REALLY took care of us! The item we wanted wasn't available in a box - only Pre-made - which wasn't going to fit in our vehicle. On top of that, we had a very tired one year old who was losing it, creating additional stress. Brian recognized we were feeling a bit hopeless and stressed and was able to find an alternative product that perfectly met our needs. He truly went above and beyond - even getting us a cart and helping us get the item to the check out line. SO appreciative! Made a huge difference in our experience. Defintely our favorite home depot in the East Bay area.

Excellent customer service from Marcela at the paint counter. He was professional, courteous and kind, listened to my needs, and took care of my request immediately - despite his colleague, stating what I needed couldn’t be done. Thank you and great work!

Great Experience n the Store

This pro desk is amazing! There is always people available to help with your transactions very fast with a very nice attitude. This is my favorite store and I’m there almost everyday. The only thing I would demand is coffee for pros! Thanks Maria, Gisele, Jack and Angel!

I had an excellent experience ordering custom vertical shade from Deyna who is the sales associate. She's very knowledgeable, personable and professional. Made my purchase very easy and seamless.

After many years of indifferent, unfriendly, and unhelpful interactions at this store, I amvery happy to say, that in recent years, it has really changed. Everyone I have encountered in the last couple of years has been extremely helpful, friendly, and respectful. So, if you have a bad image about this store, may I suggest you give it another try? I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

All the pro associates at El Cerrito are friendly and they provide excellent customer service. Leslie, Maria, Giselle, and Eli.

This store can get very busy. Employees are very knowledgeable and quick to respond to your questions or concerns.

I had a massive return to do. The sales associate, Karla, in Customer Returns was awesome in helping me!

Very easy to access to get merchandise

Hardly enough associates on the floor, employees state managers do not care and do not wish to hire more employees to help and that the managers do not care about the store or inventory and only care about passing inspection

The Home Depot is great in general but Tedi at the El Cerito location is hands down the best customer service rep I’ve ever had the opportunity to be helped by. She went above and beyond to help me and she most definitely deserves a raise, a promotion, and must be protected at all costs. She’s a national treasure and an absolute gem of a human! Dear managers, please compensate Tedi for the key talent she is. don’t miss this opportunity to do the right thing!

I was happy with the customer service.

Miss. Leana was curteous lovely and attentive. She was highly knowledgeable and despite the morning and afternoon rushes at the El Cerrito Home Depot. She gave me the time and care I needed to both: Pick up the Penske truck and drop it off. She noticed the truck provided was missing 1 of 2 hand trucks requested and quickly remedied the discrepancy by personaly calling the company to see that I was not charged for the unprovided hand truck. That level of care would easily have me return.

It is always well stocked, and the prices are well below the competitors.

Well stocked shelves, some items a bit hard to spot in the sea of fittings but not if rolando or Daniel in plumbing are there, i have been promptly been assisted by both employees in different occasions they are fast and clearly know their store and the product that they sell.

I went to the El Cerrito store yesterday to replace a broken part. I received awesome assistance from 2 team members who helped fix a part they did not normally carry and find a new part they had in stock

Home Depot should not refuse to give store credits for returned merchandise... that's unfair to loyal customers. Hpme Depot can request CDL or sooner form of id to identify customers that wish to return merchandise with no receipts (most likely thrown away). That's one reason thatI always used HomeDepot, reasonable prices and if unneeded items return, I could obtain store credit to purchase in the future.

I needed a lot of blinds cut to size and one of the service members told me there was a policy to only do 8, but Patrice from flooring jumped on it and helped me get all my blinds cut to size

Tedi helped me out in a pinch, quickly identified the most efficient solution to my problem, super helpful!

The cash register Jeanette was very helpful I love her she is so nice

This Home Depot always have what I need

I've shopped at Emeryville, El Cerrito, and Vallejo - and the El Cerrito staff are the most knowledgeable and friendly of any I've encountered. They also appear to be better stocked for all your household needs.

Najainee Coutee provided me with exceptional customer service. I purchased an item that I was unable to take home, due to it being too large for my car. Despite the challenges I faced, Najainee went above and beyond by working hard to find a solution. Ultimately she was able to arrange delivery for my item. The store was super busy and I’m sure it was stressful. But she handled my transaction patiently, professionally, and with a smile. -S. B.

Most people Have poor actitud, especially returns and costumer services. It could take 30/45 min for someone to help you bringing stuff from shelves.

I'd like a point that Tina, one of your Store Clerks did an outstanding job in handling a difficult out of stock situation at my visit the other day.
