Employees at the Ell River store made us feel like we were dealing with trusted neighbors!

If you need to order flooring of any kind, Shane is great to work with. We started out at the Monticello location and were turned away and were told that they couldn't help us, even though we had everything that we needed to have to place an order. We decided to go to the Elk River store in hopes that they could help us there. At first we were told that they couldn't order the carpet because the measure was done at Monticello and not Elk River. That is beyond frustrating for customers that you have a service done at one location and cannot go to another location to place an order. If it weren't for Shane, Home Depot would not have had our business. He said he would try to get the order placed for us since we were already told no at one location and drove to another. He went above and beyond to get the order placed for us. He had to make multiple phone calls, sat on hold because the system need attention from IT and had even more issues with their software and processes. We sat there for 2 HOURS with Shane to get our carpet order placed. We were NEVER addressed by a store manager or an assistant manager for all our troubles and time spent in their store, even though they walked by multiple times and were even called over by Shane to answer a question that he had. Very disappointing. If it weren't for Shane's hard work, patience and willingness to get our order placed, we would have NEVER used Home Depot for our carpet replacement in our home. Shane deserves all the credit in this situation and did a great job, even though it took his entire morning, when it shouldn't have. Home Depot has some serious work to do to update their systems, software and provide some better customer service. They are only getting a 4 star review because of their employee that wasn't willing to give up.

I have not been disappointed with the available stock! Dan in electrical was a big help with under-cabinet led's.

Stopped in with a short list of items. Immediately greeted with a friendly young woman who explained where I could find various things. She also called co-workers to areas to let them know I would need assistance. Employees in electrical/lighting, painting and power tools--very helpful!

Right when I came in, I was greeted by a friendly employee his name was Gavin he was quick to help me get where I needed to be then he passed the baton to Matt and he helped me out happily.
