How long is The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?
Another great spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you want. Remember to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.
How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Be certain your home is ready for wild temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. If water freezes in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter weather. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Do you have specialty moving boxes?
Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
What will the next free Kids Workshop be?
Head to our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
