This particular Home Depot store always has friendly & helpful associates. It never fails, and it makes shopping here so much better than other places. Everything is usually stocked and organized well. The atmosphere is relaxed & friendly. If you live near this one, I highly recommend it.

Having been born & raised in Brooklyn, NY, I always expect confrontations....BUT, from entering and being greeted by the blonde cutie at the front, and talking with your very gentle and polite 'return' people, and then the very pleasant Joe (asst mgr), I eventually left the store a happy shopper! This store is a great asset to the Forked River, NJ area. Just like our other retailers that have come in, I am pleased to see this location. Almost 11 years ago we had no local improvement store, except for A's hardware. While I like to support the mom and pop shop, the local hardware store did not have everything I needed when doing a project. There were times when a project was going on or a handyman was doing work, prior to this stores presence. The job would have to continue the next day when driving to the Toms River location. I think it is great that we have had this nice clean home depot with a friendly staff that always helps the customer. This store also offers job opportunities, and offset to our taxes. Big business in a small town is helpful, not a hindrance. Thanks Home Depot!!!

THIS STORE IS WELL STOCKED AND MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS WE HAVE TO LOOK FOR HELP TO FIND MATERIAL. WHEN WE DO GET HELP THEY ARE VERY VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL.. NO COMPLAINTS AGAINST THE EMPLOYEES. JUST THAT THE STORE IS SHORT STAFFED. THE CASHIER NAMED DORY WAS VERY FUNNY AND FRIENDLY...I LEFT SMILING EVEN AFTER SPENDING 200.00

Our cashier Liz S. was very helpful and knowledgeable out opening a credit card with Home Depot.

From the minute walking into the store the associates were very friendly and offered assistance. Mr Bill in appliances was very helpful and made my buying experience better. Phyllis in flooring was also extremely helpful and patient. Many other associates asked if help was needed, the two ladies in customer service were happy to answer my questions. Overall a pleasant experience.

I've lived all over NYC all of my life and then just recently bought a nice house in Bayville,NJ a few months ago, we needed so much materials and products, building items, appliances, etc to beautify, improve and fix up our new home. We were literally at Home Depot every other day, spent tens of thousands of dollars. I love this location best, never any waiting, always great parking, very helpful customer service. Truly the ppl that work here are THE BEST. I've never seen nicer, more helpful and more knowledgeable ppl anywhere. If I were the owner I'd give them all raises and make sure that they continue to work here. I've shopped at over 12 different Home Depot locations, none were as awesome as this one. I usually don't like writing reviews, wastes too much time and nobody really reads them anyway, I always think. But i was so incredibly impressed with this store that I was compelled to write one. Store has some very helpful people working in it and they do look to help you

Checking out my first item, the lady was very pleasant and recognized my USAF cap and gave me a discount. When exchanging my propane tank, when the male clerk gave me my receipt, I questioned if military discount applied. he was sooo taken aback that I told him to forget it!

Della in the paint department was extremely helpful patient and cordial. She assisted all the customers in the same friendly manner, answered all our questions and matched our paint perfectly.

Normally love to shop at this store, helpful friendly employees.i just don't understand why they don't stock larger promotional items. Went to buy a patio set and they were sold out supposedly right after opening on the first day of the sale. The only solution I was given was to go to another home Depot 45 minutes away which would've required two trips to bring the set home. No offer to ship it to my local store and unavailable online. Very frustrating as we went early Sunday morning to ensure we would be able to purchase this set.

Employees, merchandise and store appearance provided comfortable shopping. I easily found the lawn furniture, umbrellas and shrubs I was looking for, plus an assortment of other items I needed. I did not need any assistance; however, I was approached and asked by employees, three times. The sore was fairly clean. Associates are always friendly and helpful.

They usually have all the Lumber I need except for today. In the Select pine boards. There were no 1x8's in any length.
