I was issued a gift card for a return I made (I had the receipt). When trying to make a purchase and pay with the gift card, I was refused. After finally getting a manager there, I was told that the name applied to the gift card was 00. The return girl must not know how too properly do a return.

Nestled in the confines of Franklin is an oasis of home repair and improvement highly recommended. Home Depot of Franklin was a pleasant shopping experience that was recently visited in our trip to Franklin,TN. The sales associates were friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. The store was clean and well stocked. Checkout was simple and fast. Thank you Home Depot for providing such a nice store and valued team members here in Franklin TN.

Not happy when I need a manager’s approval for a .23 purchase, a complete waste of my time.

My wife and I were remodeling our personal home, our contractor procured materials from Home Depot. Due to changes in certain designs, we had to return some items back to the store as we did not need them. I go back to store with my credit cards which were used for purchase and stack of receipts. They refused to process the refund and provided me with a toll free number to contact. Later the same day, contractor told my wife about this. She took it upon herself to return to the same store and to return those same items with exact same cards and receipts. She goes to the returns desk, five minutes later - return complete! The only difference - I am a brown man and my wife is a white woman. My contractor told me not to feel bad about the situations and that he has had similar experiences where store employees procrastinate to help him, or they are rude... I do not know that all HD stores have disparity in treatment, but I can ascertain that Franklin HD does. This is second such experience in the store for me which is why I write this review.

I went to look at rugs. An employee named Marc walked right up and asked if we needed any help; this is so rare these days! Employees tend to avoid making eye contact in hopes that you won’t ask for their assistance in other stores, including other Home Depot locations. Marc pulled 2 rugs from the pile, wrapped them up to keep them clean, and got us a cart to put them in. He was very pleasant and made my experience great.

Associates are very helpful and friendly. They know the store’s merchandise and can even assist with finding an answer when a customer is not sure what they need to complete projects!

I ordered a backsplash for our kitchen. It was a pleasant experience. Ask for Teresa.

Customer service is generally very poor. This must be a management problem.

This store is convenient to my home, easily accessible on Royal Oaks Blvd. in Franklin, TN. It shares entries with Publix Grocery, so it is an easy two store shop. I feel safe crossing the parking lot on foot, but do not shop at night, so do not know how the lighting is after dark. This is the store I most often use, but also shop in the Cool Springs location. Stores are clean, check out easy for single purchases, cashier friendly (His name is Cameron-a smiling young man with excellent skills dealing with the public).

We find this store much more helpful and knowledgeable than other stores. Matthew and Mark at Customer Service are great. Mark at the checkout is also very helpful, too. And the paint dept folks are great.

I would recommend this store on the basis of an amazing employee of franklin Home Depot her name is Claire and she is really great!!! Thanks Claire for your help today. Our flag is waving on our mailbox now thanks to you!
