When it's time to make the leap into a new DIY project, you might not have everything you need in the garage or shed. Don't let that stop you when you can stop by The Home Depot Gainesville Tool Rental Center.
Tool Rental
Start your next home improvement project with confidence and the right tools for the job. Let The Home Depot Gainesville Tool Rental Center expand your toolbox with the tools you don't have on hand. You can rent what you need and bring them back when you're done. If those rental tools just went from wanted to needed, we have used tools available for purchase. Compared to the new items on our store shelves, they're discounted.
Leaf Blowers
Try renting a leaf blower to blow away leaves. Fall will be here before you know it, so have a leaf blower ready to go. It's far less work than raking them into piles. It's also easier on driveways, hardscaping surfaces, and concrete sidewalks. Choose from handheld, backpack, or walk-behind leaf blowers.
Insulation
If you need to prep your home for cooler weather, consider upgrading your insulation. Rent specialized equipment for insulation to install it efficiently. Choose from a cellulose insulation blower or a fiberglass blower, and get those nooks and crannies insulated with ease. Installing insulation keeps your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, all while tempering your heating and cooling bills.
Heaters
If you don't enjoy working or being outside in the cold, browse our heater rentals. Portable heaters keep outdoor events, barns, or workspaces warm. They are safer than torch patio heaters because they don't have an open flame, and they also blow the hot air for greater coverage. We carry gas, electric, and propane heaters in various sizes. Couple this with good outdoor lighting and a jacket, and you can extend work or play well into the night with the extra warmth.

How do I know if I can rent the tool I want?
Stop by your local Rental Center to see what tools you can rent. You can also call first to inquire about a tool, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your store. If it's not, check another nearby store or call our Rental Center associates to find where that tool might be available. For more information on tool rentals, read these Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.
Can I rent a tool for a week?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY projects may only require a short rental period, and bigger jobs aren't a problem either. You have options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When can I bring the tools back?
You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you buy your own. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you may luck out and have a sharpened one. As there's no guarantee, it's better to purchase a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
