    They don’t honor their pricing
    Bought flooring 11/2022 & shelf pricing was $32.54/case but wouldn’t sell to me at that price…because the computer says $48.23/case. Liar & deceptive. Fix the shelf pricing if it’s not correct. I bet the shelf still showing the wrong price. They did not cared to honor the price.

      Worst customer service ever. buyer beware buying appliances
      Bought a new $4000 LG fridge online. Installers damaged fridge. Damage not apparent till after a few days. Called HD to report. They said you only have 2 days to notice any damage, sorry. HD had 2 guys come out to look.They sent LG to come look. Center flap broken due to right/bottom door hinge bent so far down, hinge pushed it fridge casing and rubbed on the center drawer. HD guys said, yep its damaged, you need to get HD to replace it. LG guy said installer screwed hinge in too tight. Was not repairable. Will need new fridge. All agreed on damage and that HD should stand behind product. I've been on phone/text with HD so many times.Put on hold and after 30 min, call dropped. So much more than what I can fit in this review. Jumping through hoops, told something different every time. All they had to do was bring a replacement and take the damaged one back. Was told on 2 occasions that would send new fridge. After waiting for days with no call, I called back to ask whats up, only to be told, sorry we have no record of that, we cant help you since you didnt call within 48 hours of delivery. On and on and on. They have no idea about Customer service. Still waiting on replacement 2 months later.

        Can't get help in some departments
        The guys working in the lumber area won't offer help, often we have to figure out what ever situation comes up. They often turn and walk away.

          Normal Home Depot layout store ok
          Lumber was so so. Staff was nowhere to be found on a Sunday morning But I would recommend just because there are few other options

                      Employees treat you as potential thieves.
                      I've purchased many Milwaukee tools and batteries at Home Depot and never had an employee not hand me the item I was purchasing after retrieving it from the shelf. I was recently in the Gainesville store to purchase a hacksaw, and had an employee ask me where I'd be checking out and I said I hadn't thought that far yet. He was very snarky and told me he could not sell me the product if I did not tell him which register I was using, because he was going to have to manually carry it there and leave it. I felt like I was being viewed as a potential thief, and for that reason I will now be shopping at the Sherman store.

                              Favorite Home Depot
                              Gainsville, Tx Home Depot is my favorite as they appear to care about customer service. Seems to have a person available to help you about every two aisles. They are very knowledgeable to help with questions or find someone that can help you. Five Stars!!!

                                Only the dogged shopper shops here!
                                I've yet to got to the Gainesville store and be greeted or asked if I needed any assistance! If I can't find it myself I'm out of luck 99% of the time! Oh, and don't even try to call and ask for price and availability, that is a total disaster! I wish the CEO or President of the Company would try to call this store and ask for help!

                                  So sorry I bothered the staff of this local store….
                                  Went in to get soil for garden and exchange a broken rake….. I couldn’t get to the raised planting soil I wanted as the isles were full of products blocking the way. Also when I attempted to exchange the broken rake….they repeatedly told me they had 28……however many minutes later I was told they could not be found. Bad trip in deed.

                                    We purchased a new refrigerator and it was not the first one we looked at. Alan was a very big help and knew a lot about them the brands and the features each had.

                                          Employees training on all levels at the service desk was lacking. Inventory on an item showing in stock online out of stock in store. Supervisor aware of product not in stock. Inventory not adjusted to reflect shortage days later. Why the bad review inventory level is not accurate and nothing done to correct it. Imagine that store has a very high shrink level.

                                            I rely a lot on my Home Depot for tools and tool supplies. I must admit that finding someone to help you is a toss up and this is fine for me as I usually don’t have or need help. Most of the evening help are part timers and that’s okay. The prices and return policies are great. Thanks Home Depot

                                              Damaged products on shelves
                                              Purchased a vanity cabinet/top combo. After unpacking materials and ready for install found that the cabinet was damaged. Returned product for replacement 2 more times before due to damages. Forced to settle with separate pieces due to all other combos damaged as well. After having staff open boxes before purchase we went through 3 different boxes before finding something NOT damaged. Very disappointing, time consuming and costly. I've tried to reach out to management/leadership team but no return call. SO I GUESS selling damaged product is the norm for this location. And the leadership or lack there of ....! I have shopped at home depot for years but this experience ended that!

                                                    There is always to much clutter around self check out in the main aisle. Great if you can carry your purchase in your hands but if you have anything bulky good luck. Disorganized at best.

                                                            Watch what you are being charged on you purchases at the Gainesville, TX store! I was charged twice for the one lamp shade I bought and charged for a Miracle Grow product I did not get!!! Now, I will have to go back and get this mess straightened out!!! I’m a very upset customer! I did use my new Home Depot credit card for the first and probably the last time!!!! I also went to look at the plants and tried to get a plant for half price that was almost dead and the sales lady said oh NO we don’t do that sorry! Then took the plant from me! All of the indoor plants were so dry you could lift them dirt and plant right out of the containers!!!! Sad!!
