I have congestive heart failure. My wife, and me to a much lesser extent, is building a large chicken coop because we are inheriting 17 good laying hens and a rooster. It must be built in 2 weeks as that is all the time available or they will be slaughtered. We came to Gaylord Home Depot to get the framing material for the coop and the safe area in which the birds will be outside and safe from predators. We walked in, I motored in on a store scooter. The customer service desk people all chimed in to say good afternoon and did we need their help. Following the signs, we picked up 3.5" screws and there was an employee who asked if we had any questions. We moved to lumber and this giant, John, easily 6' 7", asked what he could do to help. I would have expected this department to be messy but it was just CLEAN. We needed a relatively large order of pressure treated lumber and he went right at it, even helping to select boards that were to misshapen to be worked with. We loaded two H shaped carts. In the interim, I drove over to the Garden Center and waited while this beautiful and quite strong young woman loaded gravel bags on a customers cart. I did not, regretfully, get her name. Even the Garden Center was spotless. I asked where the Galvanized Trash cans were and she told me and then showed me. My wife and I went to the Contractors desk to check out allowing my wife to bring the truck up to load. John volunteered to help load however the desk called Leo and Justin to assist. Those men loaded it up almost artfully. What a great way to spend almost $600 on wood. We will be back.

Store was clean. Lady at check-out in flower department was cordial. Her name was Susan.

Semi clean store, but employees didn't seem interested in helping. I found the product easily because I called the previous night and spoke with an employee. That was fine but when I actually got to the store I felt like a burden on the entire staff. Very disappointed!!

My experience at the Gaylord store was great. Sandra D went above and beyond in assisting me with locating my wifi lock, a new account setup, and check out.

The store is clean and bright and we'll stocked. The workers are real helpful and cheerful. Didn't they have popcorn a few years back? Anyway probably the friendliest Home Depot or for that matter any big box store in northern Michigan.

This store is clean, well organized and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

Michelle in Kitchen and Bath Design is the best. She helped us design our kitchen last fall and now that we're ready to tackle the master bathroom, she's the only person I feel comfortable working with.

Matt in Garden helped me right away with the 5-burner grill I wanted. Additionally, he helped me load it each step of the way. Also, at checkout, Samantha was most gracious and friendly. These staff members deserve to be commended.

I enjoyed doing business with Home Depot at Gaylord, MI. I was shown what I was looking for and am happy will my purchase. I appreciated the assistance of the employees.

The store had everything that I needed in stock. All associates that I talked to were knowledgeable and helpful. The store appeared to be clean and everyone was friendly.

So far most went well, I purchased as stove, refrigerator. dish washer, washer and dryer, and a minnie refridgator , the employee was very helpful and polite, then I purchased 4 windows and a door the same day and the person who waiting on us was rude I thought my daughter and I had to push these items to the register and at the register we asked the cashier for help getting them into are car and truck. this was the Wednesday before the holiday, then yesterday we did another purchase for trellises and was a very good experience they were very helpful and polite, so over all I spent a little over 10,000 and will be coming back for more.

I have been to many Home Depot stores. Fort Pierce, Florida, Auburn Hills, Michigan, Sterling Heights Michigan, West Branch, Michigan to name a few. The Gaylord, Michigan store is the best. The checkout help is the best.

Pam in the paint center is a rock star! And Asst. GM Gabe always remembers all the projects we are working on and asks about them - great service all around - thanks Home Depot.

I was looking for a product that might be considered "off season" by some. The internet listed this store as having 66 units of the product I was in need of. Being off season they were placed very high up on a rack system in the garden center. The associates went out of their way at the end of a long day to help me make this purchase. It involved a fork lift and additional employees for safety measures. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this store to my friends and neighbors in Northern Michigan.

Very friendly and helpful employee's, if I needed help there's always someone right around the corner, over 20 + years shopping here, for my business and my family and I've not had a negative experience yet, almost always had the products I was shopping for! Especially grateful for their customer service throughout this pandemic with everything going on many employees could stay home and collect unemployment still working if they can (many have sick loved ones or have low immune systems themselves and have to stay home) and I still thank the one's that stay home due to those reasons for not putting themselves/loved ones or customers at risk. This location is always pleasant and helpful and most always has everything you're looking for, looking forward to shopping here my the next 20+ years thank you Home Depot of Gaylord, MI

When I made my trip to the store I was in a hurry the instant that a very nice associate noticed that I was confused about where the items that I wanted were she stopped what she was doing and took me to the items that I was looking for even before I asked for her help. With her doing that it cut my time in the store by far more than half.

Ann was so very helpful and a very pleasant experience.

Bit difficult to get to the right person needed to help by phone. However, once I was connected to the right person they were extremely helpful and assisted me in getting exactly what I needed. Problem was the store did not have sufficient supply of item I was looking for and it had to be ordered, once I was connected to the right person versus voice mail everything was great!
