          I have been shopping here since they opened but lately it has become completely rude, incompetent and unfriendly. Lots of basic items constantly out of stock too. I advise going elsewhere.

                Order was not ready
                Order I placed an order on Sunday afternoon online. A few hours later I received a message stating that the order was ready. Tuesday morning we went to pick up the order but it was not ready. I was told by one representative that they don’t pull Lumber orders. I was told by the manager that the order was put back because it didn’t have tags on it and we didn’t pick it up Monday. At no time Did I receive message that the order would be put back if it wasn’t picked up by a certain time and date. I was told it would be 45 minutes to pull the order. I called to speak with a manager, Mary was kind and willing to help and assured me that she had two people working on the order but almost 2 hours later we were finally able to leave the store with the material. This can be a huge delay for contractors and throw many things off. Fix issues or and address delays by making every resource available to get the customer out of the store with everything they need, make it right and maybe even go above to compensate your customers for their time. Apologies don’t rectify job delays or man hours spent waiting in your store.

                        Management Needs to be held Accountable
                        This store has slowly been declining over the years. Yes times have changed so do processes, but management can and should play a factor in help alleviating some of the frustration the customers deal with. Accountability should never waver and has at this store. You have a lot of folks in groups of 2 or more just chatting it up when they could be assisting customers or cleaning the place up. There is always something that can be done in this store. The fact you have customers at your checkouts waiting to check themselves out should never happen, and your customer service desk always has a social gathering happening behind the desk. The past two visits I heard over the intercom a customer was needing assistance in a particular department 3 times, over like 20 min span; this should never happen. I can say I wish there were more options in South Grand Prairie but unfortunately there is not so you just have to fight through it and get in and out best you can.

                          Outstanding Customer Service from Eddie at Home Depot!
                          I had the pleasure of being assisted by Eddie at Home Depot, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service he provided. Eddie's knowledge and enthusiasm were truly impressive. We walked into Home Depot with little knowledge about how to get our grass to grow, let alone where to start. Eddie patiently explained the differences between Bermuda and St. Augustine grass, making it easy for us to decide which one was right for our lawn. He also walked us through the entire process of planting grass seed and introduced us to the convenient patches they sell. But Eddie's assistance didn't stop there. We needed guidance in selecting an air filter, and he guided us through the options. He explained how often the filters need to be changed and highlighted the key differences between them, helping us make a decision. Eddie's kindness, helpfulness, and informative approach made our trip to Home Depot a breeze. He's a true asset to the store, and I highly recommend seeking him out for any assistance you may need. If you're at Home Depot, don't forget to ask for Eddie – you won't be disappointed! Thank you, Eddie, for your outstanding service!

                                Nate in the Garden section was Exceptional and Terrific. He was super friendly and went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. He even helped me find the cheapest alternative to the costly brand I was gonna get and helped educate me on the e importance of the type of items to use on my yard. Excellent job!

                                  Most of the time it's hard to find someone to help you. Not all you see floating the floors know what they are doing. And they always seem to just be wandering around doing nothing. Luckily today I was able to get the help I set out for. But also had a bad experience with a cashier. I hope he gets a talkin too because he's really bad to women.

                                    Asked an employee for help and he looked lost, couldn’t answer our questions then said the people that could help was would arrive later!! I asked for a manager and waited only to find out the manager wasn’t called until I returned to the front angry to ask for a manager again!! We were literally in this store for 3 hours by the time we were checked out!!

                                          WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
                                          Just look at some of the other reviews and you will see that customer service at this store sucks. But don't be concerned it's like that at all of their stores. BEWARE if you even think you might need to return something, shop elsewhere. The HD return policy will leave you cursing. I refuse to shop this HD or any other HD after my recent experience with a returned item.

                                            My wife and I had a enjoyable tour of your Grand Prairie, Tx this Sunday morning after church. There were so many items for Christmas on sale and quite a variety to choose from.

However my last trip here I encountered Nate & he was so very helpful & knowledgeable. I will always look for him if I need help with something. Home Depot needs more Nate's

                                                  Home Depot 0507 in Grand Prairie is the WORST! No one never know where anything is, you stand in a department just to have associates walk past you like you are invisible, if you ask do they work in a department they say NO and do not know who works there. you have someone call for someone and you wait 30 mins then have to go to front to run someone down. i will not be spending another dime there!

                                                            Horrible Carpet Installation Experience
                                                            I decided to purchase carpet and have it installed by Home Depot. I spoke with Terry, of Cooper Installation, Friday morning on Jan. 28th, 2022. I requested an installation date on a Saturday. She told me that she would call me back after she spoke with her manager about installing my carpet on a Saturday. I didn't receive a call back but Home Depot called asking if I set an installation date. I told her that Terry had to speak with her manager about a Saturday install. The rep the stated Cooper Installation is not opened on the weekends. I was not told this at my time of purchase. A weekday installation is not convenient for me. I would have never purchased the carpet through Home Depot if this was the only option. I called Cooper back to get an update from Terry. I waited on an extended hold. Another lady answered and asked how she could help me. I stated my name and what I was calling about. She immediately hung up. I thought it could have been an accident so I called back. I was unceremoniously hung up on again. There were no phone issues. Someone, literally answered the phone and after I said my name, they hung up. When I called the Home Depot 1-800 number on Friday, I asked to cancel my order after everything I experienced at that time with Cooper. She apologized and stated that she couldn't do the cancellation there so she had to get me to someone else. The customer service rep. placed me on an extremely long hold and blind transferred me back to Cooper. Right back to the woman that hung up on me twice. The customer service rep. did not even let Cooper know I was being transferred to them and she did not tell me that she was transferring me there. I left a voicemail for the Home Depot store rep requesting that she cancel my order on Friday around 2:30pm. She called me back around 4pm, stating they were having phone issues but she'd get everything resolved. I received a call from the Home Depot rep on Monday around noon, asking if Cooper called and I said, "No." She stated that she would call them again and call me back. Terry called me soon after and said almost the same exact thing she said on Friday. She would need to speak with her manager in the morning about scheduling on a Saturday. The only difference, her attitude totally changed. She wasn't too friendly. She seemed annoyed. I didn't hear back from the Home Depot rep. That being said, Terry never attempted to speak with her manager on Friday or Monday. With all of the HUGE RED FLAGS and ISSUES that I encountered before a install date was even set, I sent a written request to Home Depot again to cancel my order. I was NOT told when I placed my order that the installers didn't work on Saturdays. There were way too many issues with Cooper and their responsiveness. Home Depot could barely reach them and they hung up on me whenever I called them directly. No one followed through with what they said. I ended up having to pay a $221.00 restocking fee for the carpet because of Cooper Installation and Home Depot's inefficiencies.
