Employees greeted me IN THE AISLES. They smiled. They made EYE CONTACT. I thought I was in a movie. It is SO MUCH nicer than the Home Depot in Schererville. I had no idea folks in Hammond were so NICE! (C[> Those employees, who are kind & helpful AND knowledgeable, make my shopping experience a PLEASURE! I am often stressed out because of a job I have to do when I go there. But the expertise AND sense of humor of your employees charm & disarm me! And get me to the right product & out the door!

ASK FOR MANNY IF YOU SHOULD NEED ANY APPLINANCES VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HE WILL GIVE YOU THE BEST SERVICE YOU COULD ASK FOR.

I go to this store because of the way I am treated by customer service desk and a few department heads.

Went for washer and dryer and received excellent customer service from Dixie and walked away satisfied and with a great deal!

Your employees were so helpful with my Christmas dilemma. Cold winter day & still went out of their way to help me!!! They helped me fashion a small tree for the cemetery into a pipe so I could put it in the ground for Christmas. God Bless! Thank you Cheryl, Duke, Joe, & Vida!!! Merry Christmas!!!

They directed me to where i needed to go and do about certain things for my kitchen counter top.

I did not catch the guys name, I was there 10/16 around 2. He was blocking aisles so they could use the forklift, he stopped so I could get the items I needed and he was very nice. Bobbi the cashier was kind and helpful and even helped me look up an item because it had no tag. Very nice employees.

I've been going to the Hammond Home Depot since it opened years ago. They've always maintained a good standard and have some of the best and nicest employees. The hotdog stand is also a plus.

Cordell D. made my day today as I shopped! I needed help finding something, walked up to him while he was busy working in a isle & he turned around greeted me with a huge welcoming & engaging smile on his face. He stopped what he was doing & not led the way to the product I was looking offering feedback along the way on the product & gave me recommendations on another product that I ended up purchasing as well! Cordell D. was patient , nice, kind & engaging & he knew the store well! When I got to the cash wrap I commented to Ari who was also amazing, telling her about my great experience with Cordell. Ari spoke of how popular Cordell D. is with customers who always speak to her about how helpful he is!! I told her I was going tell her exactly what she said of him because she also spoke of how incredibly kind & helpful he is in her opinion & interaction with him as a co-worker & of all the positive feedback he gets & he never knew till today! Kudos for hiring people like Ari & Cordell D. people don’t care unless they know that you care!

I was completely misguided by the carpeting department! First off, they lost my carpet sample and then made it very difficult for me being 6 hours away from the residence! They then disclosed that I had to do an asbestos test after I purchased! They knew I was 6 hours away and never disclosed this before my purchase! When I drove all the way up to test, the rep misguided me and said I could find the test in the store, which was completely false!! I finally canceled even though I was charged a 15% restocking fee! I would rather eat the cost then have to deal with these dishonest people!!! We're going with Empire!!

I came to Hammond store in a big hurry trying to get the pest control refills that I needed before my workday started. I could not find them. I went to check out where Rosa very kindly looked up the item and called her associate to help me. Then Ray quickly sprang into action searching the aisles, doing his best to find the refills I came for. It took a while but Ray found the items for me. In my opinion Rosa and Ray have absolutely awesome customer service! I will be back my experience was great!

This is a great location, very well stocked, neat, clean & the employees are knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Horrible experience checking out and requesting veterans discount. Cashier Bobbie, must have been having a bad day cause she dressed me down in front of other customers. Kinda belittling.

Yadira greeted us with a smile and made every effort to help us find what we needed, including calling other stores. She was extremely helpful!!
