TRACEY IS VERY FRIENDLY AND FUNNY, she offered to help me on her own, that’s customer service!

In all, it's a pretty solid Despot. Lots of employee churn as there is across retail these days, but a general desire on the part of the employees there to do a decent job. The location and accessibility are good and things seem to be generally well stocked. I have three Despots that are convenient to me: San Ramon, San Leandro and Hayward, and I always choose Hayward.

I ALWAYS FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IN THIS STORE AND MY DOG LOVES COMING WITH ME TO THE STORE..A LOT OF PET FRIENDLY PEOPLE VISIT THE STORE.

Don’t buy a shopping bag at self check out, home debit will take your 10 cents.

I had a great experience today. Ramon and Edwin went above and beyond today. If all the other employees are helpful like them. I definitely recommend this store.

Bad customer service and treat customers with less confidence

Great store I always am greeted and assured of my profit being well spent. Everybody on the gone depot team deserves a raise!

Good job hayward branch

Store is fine but outside can be crowded! Its an area where the day laborers stand around which adds to the already crowded parking lot. I don’t mind the day laborers but it would be nice if Home Depot would have them setup on the other end of the parking lot. This would help with the congested parking lot.

Store has good inventory and friendly staff.

Store was neatly great and clean. Especially this pandemic times. But also great cus. service.

Hello everyone, I had the most unpleasant experience today at Home Depot with one the cashiers. I was returning some items, one of then was 1 1/2 by 3/4 trims, and the cashier keep telling me that was 4 feet and I told her it was 12 feet x 3 of them, but she keep going on 4 feet she said to me never mind I already calculated, and I asked her, excuse me, why are you giving me an actitud, it’s 12 feet each on of them and she walked away and grab another guy to deal with me and then she went and got the store manager. I asked them what did I do wrong? All I’m saying is that they are 12 feet and she is saying 4 feet, I don’t know what she got so mad. The worst part was, at the end I approached the cashier and asked her that if I offended her, I would like to apologize but she was kind of upset, I turned around and I heard someone asking her what happened and she told him that I shouted at her, and she said it in Spanish, when I heard that I immediately turn around and I told her excuse me, I didn’t shouted at you, you know that, if I would had shouted at you, people would had approached the desk without you had to go and get the other guys, and I walked away. This has been a very sad situation.

I came to the store for a quick check for plumbing fixture I need for a project. While looking through the shelves, I couldn't see anywhere the part I am looking for. I wished somebody could be able to point me in the right direction - then I saw Joel Tinio working in another area, which when I asked him to assist me in looking for the part I needed - he promptly left what he was working to walk me over to the other side where the plumbing part I need was located. He saved me time, and was very helpful that I will be back to shop for more at this store.

At the last minute, I decided on a rainy, Sunday afternoon to get some paint for my living room. I headed to my local store and found what I needed, along with a few other things. The reason I'm choosing to write this review is because of the great customer service I received from both the Paint Department employee (didn't get his name, sorry), and by "Terry" the cashier who assisted me on the way out. Each were polite, professional, and helpful. Nice job!

i love shopping in home depot i just wish they have more people for help so whenever i am not familiar with what i need it will be easier for me to find help.

When I arrived at Home depot I had a list of 6 items I needed to pick up. Because of the virus, my son and daughter in law have taken care of all my outside needs, so they felt it was safe for me to go to Home Depot. That in-it-self is the best compliment I could give. The employees were great, the store is clean, our safety was of maximum importance, everyone was helpful, items were easy to find and we left with " 11 items" instead of "6" !

I have shopped at various Home Depot stores. they all carry same items. However, this branch, #1017 Hayward, has a good number of employees that deliver outstanding customer service.

The store is organized and the staff is all very friendly. Theres one line for all the checkouts which actually made it easier and we got to the checkstand very fast. Ami rang us up and she was very friendly, helpful and informative. Found everything we needed fast and even got a cute little tree for the holidays.
