I always get nice help from the employees in this store. They are friendly and most of them are very knowledgeable. I love to visit this store which happens to be closer to my home than other hardware stores.

Several employees asked if I needed help finding things. Three different employees (two in Garden, one in Plumbing), took me to where the products were. Then, if there were different brands of the same item, explained how some were better suited as to how I would use them. One of the Garden employees pointed out that two of the items that I asked about and, was about to purchase, similar items, (that were just as good), were on sale. They answered all of my questions. I was impressed by their knowledge! I left the store feeling very good about how the Home Depot employees are looking out for their customers and trying to save them money! Thank You, Home Depot for that excellent service!

The employees were helpful. Jim was very helpful in locating the item I needed and telling me where I could find it.

Home Depot on Hillsdale, in San Jose, Ca is a great store! The employees are always friendly and helpful and direct me to where I need to go, even when I have to give them a description of the "thing" I need because I may not know what it is called. Plus, they are willing to show me where it is if I am having difficulty locating it. : ) Things are easy to find and they have a wide variety of items. When operating a home business there is always something that needs to be fixed or repaired and Home Depot is close by and has almost everything I need to get the job done! I'm a happy buyer!

Easy access to store. Easy check out in the gardening department. Lots of associates around in the store willing to help.

Great store -- just like many of the others, but with more space and slightly more functional layout.

Found everything I needed, and it right where it was suppose to be. Checkout person was new and did a wonderful job of making sure I was satisfied, without being "over the top".

Your staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The merchandise is organized well, and priced reasonably well.

I was very happy with the professional help I received when gathering info for new blinds I wanted to purchase for our bedrooms. There was a wide selection available!! I was also explained about services that could be provided for installation and design support. The experience was wonderful!

Ed and Pam took good care of me. This was a small job,one window. My blinds were custom cut to my specs. This small project was handled like a big ticket item. Good customer service is a tie breaker when two equal products are compared. I'll be back.

I'm writing this review from a contractors' perspective. If you're a DIYer or just a homeowner, your experience might differ. But, for a contractor who's always coming into a Home Depot (usually in a rush), it's hard to beat this store. Their Pro Desk runs smoothly with quality employees and virtually every department has a higher than average expert in the field, which bodes well when you're looking for something rare and/or hard to find or just need the assistance of someone who understands trade lingo.

I came in to buy $10 worth of sand paper - I ended up buying a new refrigerator because the employees knew their stuff and had me out the door in record time. Awesome

I was out of town on business and needed a few things from a unfamiliar area. The people in this store made me feel at home and made the rest of my day enjoyable.

During the purchase and with the items that I had to return all both Associates (Daniel and Debra) were wonderful and very helpful. I really appreciated all the efforts.

This store is the best store around, and I have 4 to choose from. This store is the neatest, cleanest, and best organized HD store around. The newest store is larger, but this store has the most friendly associates. The only downside is this location does not rent tools. On the plus side, they don't have day laborers milling around in the parking lot.

This store has been my local Home Depot for almost 10 years. The customer service and knowledge of their employees is fantastic. My son loves the monthly kids build days and the crew that runs them is excellent. Would highly recommend the store.

I am a contractor and go to Home Depots all the time. But this store seems to almost always have the product availability. The employees are a bit more polished here than the other home depots

I appreciated that Ryan helped find the best deal on lumber and made the most innovative lumber cuts to provide many signs for our school garden. Each student will have a signage for their garden plot. Likewise, in garden dept. after I was leaving because I couldn't find what I was looking for, Bart directed me right to the 3 hoses we needed for the school garden. They are both what make this Home Depot a better place to shop.

The pro desk team is awesome! Manny, John and Danielle are very helpful!! Always treating me very well!

Walked in and Simon stayed with me until all my purchases were made, and some were in plumbing and super hard to find. He never handed me off to anyone, even when we had to get help from other associates. Better yet - Crystal and Gilbert chased me down when they realized I had left my wallet in a cart. Who does that anymore? They seriously all restore my faith in the human race. Love this store.
