This store consistently has disorganized aisles and floor space. They frequently close several aisles off during peak shopping times, interfering with customers' ability to navigate the store. Employees who feel it necessary to inconvenience customers then make it a point to treat customers poorly and as if they are a problem for shopping at the store.

This is my go to store for all my home repair, remodeling and lawn care products in Idaho Falls. The layout of the store is very customer friendly and the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They also have the best installation contractors.

Every time we go in, the whole staff is super upbeat and friendly!

Five stars because of Zachary Tyler and Julie Schramko made our visit pleasant with their friendly customer service and willingness to hold their checkout lane open with a smile!

Sadly, the worst Home Depot experience I’ve ever had. Tool area was cluttered with giant ladders, couldn’t even get by with my cart. Not enough help in tool area. All the tools were locked up, couldn’t compare them by reading boxes. Shelves were bare. Store needs more help. Sad.

Its the only Home Depot close to us. customer service needs to remember we are customers who pay hard earned money for services and products. I have not gotten good customer service for the past few years.

This has been our "go to" for a very big project, and we are grateful to all the employees for their courtesy and helpfulness.

We use Home Depot for all of building and Hobbies needs. They have all of the tools and materials that we are looking for. They are # 1 in our book for being helpful and friendly to help us.

I honestly would've given them zero stars had it not been for the human meet sack at the self checkout. But they don't have nearly as many human meet sacks working throughout the store as they do working the registers (and 90%) are self checkouts. Please explain the irony in that. Furthermore your human meet sacks working for you can't be found at any time of day. It took 2 people to find someone to call another someone and that someone never showed up after 20 minutes so I made s*** work. You can be great full for the human meet sack you have running the self checkout(still don't understand that) but she is the only reason I would walk back into that store

In spite of clear signage at the entrance and broadcast messages on the PA system, this Home Depot will do nothing (as stated explicitly to me by a staff member) to enforce wearing masks. The rest of the qualities of the store are irrelevant. People who will not wear masks are free to order on line and pick up items using the services provided, yet Home Depot has chosen to make those who are responsible to bear the costs. I will be shopping at at competitor's store that is nearby.

I enjoy shopping at this store. I know where everything is and the staff is always helpful. Hope they start selling beer in the future because it truly would be a one stop shop.

Just know that this store does not enforce masks, 25% of customers do not wear masks and employees say nothing.

Home Depot claims to be Veteran friendly. Veterans discount; reserved parking, etc. However, when you check out you may or may not receive the promised "Military Discount." I served in the Army; I served in Vietnam; I received an Honorable Discharge like so many American servicemen. A few years ago HD stopped taking the word of veterans checking out. They wanted to see a "military" or "VA ID." So I got my DD214 and took it down to the Idaho Drivers License office and had them issue me a new State of Idaho Drivers License that has a place that designates I am a veteran. Now, when I go to Home Depot I get my discount? Well, that depends on who is at the register. Sometimes I get a "thank you for your service" when I show my ID and sometimes I get a "you need to have a "Military or VA ID". Today it happened again so, I will save myself the bother and spend my money at a competitor who actually has a program that acknowledges my veteran status and accepts my ID that clearly indicates I am a veteran. I like Home Depot and you generally have the products and tools I need when I need them but I do not like the inconsistency. Unless you have "retired" from the military you are not issued an ID card when you exit the military. So, what about all the veterans who served but did not retire. Are they not veterans in HD's eyes? This last time at the Idaho Falls store the person at the register pulled out a piece of paper with pictures of military IDs on it and she said, "we can only take these as proof" I showed her my drivers license and showed her where it clearly states I am a veteran but still that was not good enough. I know I could have went to another register and got a completely different response. How do I know that, because I had been in the store earlier in the day and was given my discount after showing my drivers license to a different checker.

The woman that helped me at the pro desk was very helpful. She ordered the saw I wanted but couldn’t find.

The two guys in the rental/repair did an outstanding job for me on my snow blower repair. Their professionalism, knowledge, timeliness, and confidence were exceptional. Well done guys. Like may stores, their the main isle (and side ones too) are often too cramped from displays and pallets of 'specials'. It makes it hard to navigate in the store. I prefer the 'lots of room' to get around approach. Also, the size of parking spots are also cramped, good for sedans but not trucks.

Jimmy in hardware was amazing. I asked him many questions about door handles. I needed 5 exterior door handles all with the same key for a single home. In the end 3 needed to be rekeyed. He helped rekeyed the handles and deadbolts with absolutly no complaint or apperance of annoyance or frustration. This took him quite a while and I had no other shopping so essentially I was standing over his shoulder. He was incredibly helpful!!

The associate in appliances was very helpful.

The Home Depot store in Idaho Falls, ID, is the best place to shop for home improvement needs.

Most ever time I go to home depot I find what I need and they are always there to help!

If you're looking for service, look for Blake in the plumbing department. He turns an absolutely frustrating experience into one of the easiest ever!
