George at the customer service desk helped me during this purchase and he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and I'm sure made my stop much shorter than it would have been if I didn't have his help. Give him a raise!

JoAnn in the electrical dept. was extremely helpful. Even though the item I was looking for and thought would be in the electrical dept. was someplace else she walked me down and made sure I found what I was looking for. She was very personable and helpful.

Jason from flooring was extremely helpful even though we were not in his designated area he was very friendly and made sure I was taken care of.

I'm in the middle of, what seems like, a monumental home improvement project and although on this particular visit I didn't need help, it was nice, as usual in the Jamestown store, to have so many employees asking if I needed help. It's a very friendly atmosphere there which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. Plus I know if I do have a question or problem there will be at least one person in the store that will have the answers I seek.

Needed new blades for my lawn tractor. I was having a problem in selection. The Store manager Chris Kunkle happen to be passing by and gave me assistance.

The knowledge of two of the employees working at the paint desk was not as good as I expected because they were new at the job and being trained. Nonetheless they were very friendly, helpful, and did their jobs well.

I had a great store clerk named Paul helping me get things rolling to get carpet installed. A little "bump" getting the measuring person to come as there was a glitch in the system, but once he rescheduled rather quickly it all worked out. I even had phone calls from a gentleman from Home Depot in Michigan, working on the weekend to resolve my glitch. That made me feel more secure in Home Depot's sevice. The carpet was ordered and arrived in a very timely fashion, and the installers came very quickly after the carpet came in stock. Installers arrived on time, worked efficiently and were pleasant and helpful explaining some issues. The work looks pretty great. I also had a DIY tile job that I did personally with help from store staff, as well as painting advice. All-in-all I have been really happy with HD and its level of service. Thanks HD!

I have been to many home depot stores that do not begin to compare to this one when it comes to friendly service. I have enjoyed shopping at the Jamestown Home Depot from the first time I went there. The associates are very helpful and some are downright fun! I usually feel better about any home improvement nightmare I may be going through at the time after they help me.

Overall: This store has great associates, from the friendly cashiers and lot attendants to the knowledgeable paint and plumbing department experts. I always get help if needed, which is most often in the paint dept...involving exterior paints, interior moisture retardants, to concrete sealers. This store ALWAYS honors my military discount, except the items that The Home Depot excludes. Having served 24 1/2 years and deploying 2 times, this means a lot to me. It shows the respect that The Home Depot has towards those of us who served or are currently serving. Thank you so much for that....not just the 10% discount, but for the appreciation that I feel, especially when the cashiers personally thank me too. It's a nice touch that The Home Depot obviously makes a priority, unlike the nearest competition. Convenience: Less than a mile away. If this store wasn't so close, I would make the drive to shop there anyways. I'm a Journeyman electrician by trade, but I'm always working on house projects inside and out....getting what I need is always fast and easy. Cons: Digging through the stacks of lumber looking for the best boards is always a pain, but it's pretty much an issue with any store.

I went there looking for help replacing an entry door and I found it. Helpful and knowledgeable,

I needed a key cut. No one was at the machine, however another associate summoned help and I was promptly taken care of. It was a successful and satisfying shopping experience.

The store was very well maintained, products were easy to find, associates were readily available to help, and the prices were the best.

I had to wait perhaps 5-7 minutes before a salesman came to assist me, but I learned he had been assisting a blind customer prior to me (another salesperson let me know this as I waited). Paul was extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the carpet/tile installation process. He explained everything in detail, and did not rush me. He arranged for a measurement at my home. All-in-all I felt my experience was much better than I expected...and I hope if Home Depot does my installation that I am equally happy. He assured me of the people who would come to my home, the safety of those persons, and their expertise. I must say I was impressed with Paul and Home Depot's service at this store level.

Very appreciative of the assistance Rebekah gave trying to color match a paint purchased a year ago. She managed to help multiple customers match color at the same time and I believe was successful with everyone! During return trips found entire paint staff helpful and friendly during the "frenzy" of paint purchases made during the Labor Day sale.

Purchased flooring and paint today; Amy a sales associate was very attentive and knowledgable! She made our trip quick and enjoyable!!

I used the Home Depot app when I visited. I have to say, it made finding products very easier. If I couldn't find a product, I would ask an associate, who was able to answer all of my questions. The store has a huge variety of products, making everything I needed available. I would recommend this store to anyone who asks. I can't say that about every store I visit.

I love Home Depot, I always find what I am looking for, when I need help from the store associates they are more than glad to assist. Would recommend this store highly. If someone asks me what I want for Birthday, Xmas or other holiday I tell them "Home Depot Gift Card Please" I can spend hours in this store like some women can spend in the Mall. I much prefer the Home Depot :)

I like the way the store is laid out everything is well marked and easy to find. Lots of sales associates also aisles were very clean and organized.
