Very helpful and more items in stock than the Dunkirk Store

We have done of considerable amount of business with Home Depot in remodeling our home over the past 2 1/2 yrs. we have found your store to be well stocked and very clean. It has provided a great service to our community in the Jamestown area. This being said, we have noticed that the other big box store within driving distance offers a noticeable positive advantage in customer service in mainly the area of assistance in the various departments. Often we spend most of our time searching for assistance with questions we may have or help in locating items. We have questioned as to if this may be a shortage in staffing.

This location has many friendly staff. They typically have what you need or are able to order it at no cost to you. Clean and follows Covid-19 guidelines.

well as someone who has been in upper retail management for over two decades our local store has not always been the best with customer service and with helpful employees i hope going forward things will get better they are the only store to carry most items we all need so we deal with the good and the bad.... i know myself this store can run more efficiently and have better customer service i have done this myself in my stores and i have seen it in other Home Depot locations too stay safe out there God Bless,John God Bless,John

I visited this store for a good friend of mine. We needed a large pond liner and had alot of trouble, elsewhere, trying to find one. Well once I was directed to the correct department, by another of this stores employees, and got to it. I searched and searched and still just couldn't find it. Online it had said there was only 2 of the size i needed left in stock, in this store. So i was worried they were gone and I'd have to start over. Then i ran into a gentleman named Josh, in the garden department. He was friendly and very helpful, he explained he was new to the department, and tho he didnt know off hand where they were, he would gladly look it up for me and help me locate the one I needed. He did it in less than 5 min. and explained that though the stores aisles were numbered, inside the store, the garden department was arranged a tad differently. He was the nicest worker I've met at a homedepot in a long while, and for being new he must be taking in and learning alot because he did his job very well and efficiently, he deserves to know hes doing an awesome job. Thanks again Josh, keep up the awesome work and stay friendly.

I think returns or stock on shelf should be checked periodically to be sure all components are in the package that should be

The Jamestown Ny store is a gem , the staff is friendly , knowledgeable and willing to help answer questions about different products. Always offering knowledgeable suggestions so you won’t have to comeback for additional items.

This store has failed for the past few years. It started with an appliance purchase that went really wrong when the sales clerk lied about the operating conditions of a gas oven. It had to be returned because the operating manual that was provided to me did not match the oven that was delivered to me. I have never since felt confident in the employees knowledge of what they should know or do. Today I tried to make a simple purchase of a pressure treated wooden beam that should have been a standard item in stock. The employee that waited on me said that the item was out in back of the store and that they would get it for me right away. The employee serviced three other people during 30 minutes and then played with his phone for several minutes while sitting on his fork lift machine. Since I had been waiting for well over 30 minutes for one simple item that should have easily been available and the employee did not seam to care, I left the store in a very bad and unforgiving mood. I will only shop here again as a really, really last resort.

I shop at this store all the time for home projects. I enjoy going there. The workers are friendly and helpful. Never had any issues.
