Heidi, from the garden department, helped with my BBQ selection. She was cheerful and friendly. She helped find an associate to load the large item as well as found string for tiedown. I think she is an exceptional employee for your store. I would certainly shop there again.

Staff experience always genuine Aloha, store could do better in the bulk items in terms of keeping inventory.

I live in California and have a condo on the Big Island of Hawaii. I needed to replace my washer and dryer in a timely manner for my renters. It is not always easy to get things done when you are not there in person, but the associates took great care of me. I got a good price and they handled everything from delivery, parts that were needed, and installation in a very timely and professional manner. I will use the Kona Home Depot for all of my appliance needs.

i split my time between league city texas and Ka'u , bigisland of hawai'i. And I am Blessed to have two wonderful HD's available. The Kailua-Kona store is a 70 mile drive from my home in Ka'u,and well worth it. There are several associates in Lumber,plumbing and electrical that I seek out for their friendly, professional and excellent advice. On this particular visit Maria at check out was so kind , friendly and was very concerned that we were able to find what we came for. She is the embodiment of "living aloha". My wife and I felt so good leaving the store. It is truly amazing how a little empathy showed to another can go along way! We love our Kailua-Kona Home Depot and gladly make the long drive for the service and selection and aloha spirit of the store associates.

We couldn't find an obscure product and the woman in charge of the appliance department walked with us through the paint section until we found it. She was personable and pleasant to be with and dropped what she was doing to help us. The cashier was also very happy and outgoing. We always use Home Depot cause they always have what we need and help in finding it and tips on using it.

The sales associate Cathy in appliances while purchasing a new washer and dryer was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her and this store for future purchases.

Today we shopped at our local Home Depot. We completed paperwork with the sweet Customer Service Associate, returning an item. We also found a couple of very needed electrical parts, some toilet plumbing parts and a couple spare things to have on hand. We also found a new faucet for one of our bathroom sinks, and hoses and valves to finish that project. I also needed a couple of paint rollers to finish painting the backside of shed. We really appreciate that the items are convenient to locate and there are plenty of associates to help us with questions we might have. Home Depot is a very good store.

Renee helped us order some Kitchen Cabinets. She was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful in getting the process done even after I made some changes.

The Kona Home Depot location is exceptional with a spectacular view over the Pacific ocean! The store is well organized and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience with Renee who was our Kitchen Designer. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional at all times. She knew how to listen carefully in order to answer our needs. We worked together as a team. She made our research much easier than we were expected. She did not hesitate to go beyond expectations and even skipped her lunch for us! She definitely made our days much better. Kailua Home Depot located in Paradise with a superb view on the Pacific Ocean; what a pleasure to go there! Although we were not planning to remodel our kitchen in the new home we bought in Kona Vistas on the Big Island of Hawaii, we had a few surprises which lead us to investigate kitchen material at the local Home Depot. There we met our new Kitchen Designer. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional at all times. We worked together as a team like we had known each other for years. She knew how to listen carefully and answered our needs perfectly. She also did not hesitate to go beyond expectations. She definitely made our days much better! Thank you and mahalo!

This store is one that I grew to hate having to go to because the service was horrible. I have literally sat and waited for items to be brought to my car for almost 40 minutes while the associates who were supposed to be doing the helping were actually hanging around talking to each other. NO JOKE! I do not know what they have done to get the turn around they did, and maybe it was the perfect storm of awesomeness but it has changed my perception and feelings on having to visit this store. It is a place that not only would I recommend again, but I don't have the irritation and the anxiety anymore before I even get to the store! Thank you Home Depot Kailua-Kona

Home Depot is a nice clean and well stocked store that has a lot of friendly, helpful Associates. The Associate who helped us yesterday and the Manager, made getting us a new refrigerator, a good experience. IThank You for your help, your time and your patience.

Remodeling a bathroom and not knowing anything of value, 2 sales associates in Kitchens and Bathrooms and flooring explained all of the different components involved and helped me find great bargains to help save on costs. It was a great experience and I will return for more help on other items in the near future.

I found what I needed quickly and purchased them at a very reasonable price. I appreciated the selection of different styles and brands of products I was there to purchase. I was in and out quickly which was great!

At the checkout I was asked if I needed help loading and declined. As I was loading my truck and employee in the parking lot came over and without be asked assisted me in loading. After it was completed I offered to buy him something to drink but he refused the offer. I wish I would have gotten his name as I was very impressed by his generosity in going out of his way to help me. Mahalo

We came to HomeDepot looking for a washer/dryer combo and Ted in the appliance center went out of his way to check the back and found us an incredible deal that we had take. We even took out a 5 year warranty for the purchase and walked out amazed! Many Mahalos, Ted for finding us a fantastic product with an even more amazing price! Great Job!

Visiting a friend at the Big Island. Needed material to fix a few things at the house. Home Depot was nearby. Wanted to see the comparison between the stores. The store layout was similar, people was friendly, helpful? store was very clean. Price???? What do you expect from the Big Island....

Needed to find an outdoor timer for Christmas decorations. Person from that department happened to be at Customer Service and took me right to where the various timers were and helped me find the correct one.

No associate said hello when entering and in the christmas area no associate to help with questions or advice in the christmas area only when checking out.

The store is clean, Very friendly and helpful workers.

Had some issues with stock availability and finding an alternative, but the staff was very friendly and helped make it a positive visit. They went overboard to make things right!!

We needed an Artificial Christmas Tree, and we found one that had a great price and it looks wonderful!

My salesperson in the major appliance department was very knowledgable and pleasant to deal with. I was pleased to find the electric range I wanted, in white, was available and in stock as it had been a special order which was returned. This made my day and was a pleasant surprise. I always enjoy shopping at Kona Home Depot.
