Drove over from Volcano for a table saw, Traci Sacia was super pleasant, tons of Aloha and very helpful.

Store was clean and well kept but staff was not helpful or friendly. Tried calling 6 times (twice Thursday, twice Friday, twice Saturday) before driving out to ask if they rented a tool listed on the website. The phone was never answered. When I got there, multiple staff members were standing around in the store so I’m not sure why my numerous attempts to call were all unsuccessful. Then the product I was looking for was out of stock even though it says in stock online. Then asked someone if they rented a tool that Home Depot site had posted online for rental (didn’t specify if Hawaii rented which is why I kept calling to try and ask) and they seemed extremely irritated I asked the question responding with “we don’t rent anything!”

Clean store item that I wanted to purchase was sold out ,so I waited a day and checked store website and item was restocked returned to purchase item.Great Service! Self check out quick and easy.

I love shopping at Home Depot. But I wish the service I had today was better. Employee did not want to help me load the product on to my cart. But i had great service to load my items in to my truck from lot attendant.

We like how Home Depot carried out the protection of both employees and customers to prevent Coronavirus from spreading. The store is clean and sanitized. Social distancing was safe! We felt very comfortable and safe shopping at the store. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Awesome! The cashier was wonderful! We got "Above & Beyond" from Jaedon & Emil in the front loading area. They were very busy helping other customers to load their purchases in their trucks. We told Jaedon that we needed his help to load 12 bags of 60-lb. concrete. He responded very politely that he would help us in a few minutes. We saw him working hard & very efficiently to help other customers. He helped us right away. Emil joined Jaedon to load the concrete bags efficiently. They were polite, strong, & hard working workers.

I needed help from Ian, the manager, with my lumber choices, and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me. He approaches his job with passion and that is rare in the retail world. He made my experience at Home Depot superb! This store is really run efficiently. My hat goes off to them on always giving me a great experience at Home Depot

when I go to Home Depot, staffs are always friendly and helpful except for 2/29/20. One particular staff was rude to my brother and daughter in the lumber department. I wish I was there when that had happened, cause I would have said something. I did not do anything about it when my daughter told me, she said to just let it go.san

Be very careful in the paint department here. TWICE now I have been sent home with plain, white, unmixed paint that was labelled as the color I ordered. Once I ordered 3 gallons of a color that was dotted on each lid, with only one can mixed, the others plain white. Just now I opened a gallon of paint to begin painting a project, only to find that it is pure white again. The dot on the lid is pure white, too, but the color was supposed to be an off-white, so I couldn't tell in the store lighting that it was incorrect. I like the quality of the Behr paints, but if you buy it, make them show you inside each can or wait there while they mix it. I live 45 minutes away and now I have to put my project on hold so I can drive back out there. The only other problem I have had with this store was with quarter-round floor trim, which they will never keep in stock in sufficient quantities to trim a room. They won't re-order until their computer system shows 0, but there may be a few broken pieces there which will show as stock. Always special order the trim, and be aware that it will cost you as much or more than the cheaper flooring.

Hope from customer service is an awesome person. Willing to assist with anything. Chris from the garden and lawn department Is a gem. They are professionals in customer service. They made my Valentine’s Day special. I recommend Kailua Kona Home Depot. Great service and products.

GREAT STORES, I JUST MOVED HERE TO KONA FROM Southern California , AND IT WAS A BLESSING HAVING THAT STORE HERE IN KONA TO HELP ME FIX OUR HOME, I WAS ALWAYS HAPPY IN CALIFORNIA TO GO AND SHOP FOR THINGS I NEED IT FOR THE PAST 25 YEARS, SO I AM GLAD THAT Home Depot IS ON THE ISLAND...

Associates were available, friendly, knowledgeable, and friendly. I didn't have to wander all over the store to find help--help came to me. A very good shopping experience.

No wonder Home Depot has good business because they have the Best employee like Rahula. His customer service was above and beyond our expectations. He was smart, knowledgeable, and friendly. The cashier, Debra was very smart and friendly. Also, thank you for Neil to help us to find the barb wire and carried it to our SUV. He was very strong. The barb wire was very heavy. All the cashiers were helpful and friendly with a great smile.

The customer service and manager go above and beyond to make sure you are helped from purchase, to delivery, to making sure you are more then satisfied with all you are needing and purchasing.

I only write this bc Bill in electrical was top notch in quality customer service, they don’t come like that anymore, and I will return based on the knowledge and ease of his help alone! Two thumbs up Bill in electrical! Easy to find him and helpful

Online experience was awful. But sales representative named Hope was great and worked to rectify the issue and followed through weeks later when the item came in. She made the difference!!

Home depot employees are always friendly and so willing to help load our lumber or whatever help we need. Cashiers are always super friendly and helpful.

All the staff/employees were friendly and helpful. They all had a big smile on their faces. The store was clean. Mandy, the check out lady was very nice and helpful. Jennifer was nice and helpful to get what my wife needed for her paint job. Denise was a very hardworking employee. We were impressed by his working attitude. We received excellent customer service throughout the store.

The pro service people are different now and very helpful. I highly recommend them.
