do not expect customer service if you are going there. The return desk was stacked full of customers waiting to return items. One poor lady was working behind the counter and 3 "managers" of Home Depot stood in front of the counter, laughing and talking, totally ignoring the customers. You would think one or all of them would jump behind a register and help a paying customer. Nope, too busy talking about the weather and sports and blah blah blah. Very poor customer service. Absolutely rude and ridiculous.

The employees at this store are incredible helpful and kind. I always find what I need with their assistance, and they are always willing to help.

I have shopped at this store for many years for both work and home projects. For the most part, the employees are polite and helpful. However, today was not their day. I purchased a canopy tenting on 04/04/21. The firs time I used it, it leaked all over the place. I went to return it today, 04/12/21, only 8 days later. Holly, the cashier at the Customer Service desk, said it didn't come up in their "system" so I couldn't get a refund. I pointed out the receipt clearly showed it was bought at HD and the LG location only 8 days prior. Then she tried to say I bought it at a different store, so, it wasn't coming up in their store's system. Then she said I probably bought another one and switched the boxes! I asked her to get the manager on duty (MOD). The MOD arrived and began to restate the things Holly had been saying! After 40 minutes of trying to get them to understand : 1) I bought it at this store as the original receipt shows; 2) It was defective; 3) I didn't appreciate being accused of being dishonest; the MOD agreed to giving me a refund. I spend lots of money at HD. This is the first time I felt I might not want to continue to give them my business. There was a line of customers behind me overhearing the conversation. They agreed with me that is was not right to refuse me getting a refund. I told the MOD they should check any other exact items to make sure they are not also defective before selling them.

The employees were nice, fun, funny and a good time.

We ordered a grill on line and had it delivered to the store. Matt in home and garden coordinated the assembly and delivery. He was very friendly and helpful. Today we shopped for a cover and brush to clean the grill. Elizabeth and Jesse were very helpful and spent time with us to find the correct products. We also spoke with Lori in the Hardware department to purchase replacement batteries and charger for Rigid tools. She was extremely helpful and showed us a package product that contained all of these plus a few tools at a price cheaper than buying individually. Thanks Lori. And Greg in the tool rental checked some tools that I had purchased second hand to see if they were under warranty. He was very pleasant and helpful. Great shopping experience today.

Friendly and helpful employees

Well-stocked store with wide selection at fair prices. The employees are both friendly and knowledgeable not only about the products, but can give advice on "how to do it". The store is kept clean and I enjoy shopping there.

Love my Lake Geneva Home Depot, it is our store here in Lake Geneva. It is nice I don't have to drive all over to get the items I need for the home, thank you.

Clean, well organized store. Knowledgeable staff willing to help find what you're looking for.

Store clean, carts sanitized, all clerks wearing masks. Advertised items have been in stock when I've shopped. Good service in paint, cutting keys, assistance with a stove purchase. Clerks know the store layout. Helpful when in a hurry and need items that I don't purchase regularly.

Lori in Hardware was excellent in helping me find all that I needed.

This store is great. My wife and I drive a half hour from Illinois to this specific store due to the great attention to detail and the even greater customer service.

The employees at the Lake Geneva Home Depot go way beyond what is expected to help and make sure the customers are well taken care of. Of all the big box stores that I have ever had an experience at, this one stand above all the rest.
