It's also a great time for lawn and garden work outdoors, setting up new appliances indoors, and organizing your home with the perfect storage. Remember to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26. Don't miss out on these bargains.
Is patio furniture on sale for Memorial Day?
Get ready to save money when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major items you've been waiting to save on: patio furniture, grills, outdoor power equipment, appliances, and more. Some categories have select items up to 40%, while others offer up to 20% off. It's easy to shop for bargains from May 14–27, 2026, in person at your local store or with our mobile app.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?
Make certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
