You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you buy your own. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you may luck out and receive an excellent blade on the saw. Since there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Note the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. If you don't, you have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We do not accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck. Some tools and large equipment also require ID verification via CLEAR.

Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are, as cancelling within 12 hours of delivery means you'll incur a cancellation fee.
