You've got options to rent tools by the week, month, or day, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

You can return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need it longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you purchase your own. You'll likely not get a sharp blade when you rent, as most people won't leave one on there when they return it. However, you might get lucky and receive an excellent one. Since there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Note the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. If you don't, you have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck. Large equipment and select tools also require ID verification via CLEAR.

Depending on your location, you can get large equipment delivered straight to the job site for an affordable rate — whether that's out in the field or at your own home. We'll need at least 24 hours' notice so we can adequately prepare your rented equipment, and you'll need to rent it for a full day. Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are, as cancelling within 12 hours of delivery means you'll incur a cancellation fee.
