You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you buy your own. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you may luck out and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's better to purchase a suitable blade, just in case you need it.

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Note the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. If you don't, you have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We do not accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck. Large equipment and select tools also require ID verification via CLEAR.

Depending on your location, you may be able to get large equipment delivered straight to your job site for an affordable rate — whether that's at your home or out in the field. We'll need at least 24 hours' notice so we can adequately prepare your rental delivery for you, and you'll need to rent it for a full day.
