I was not offered any help even though it was obvious I needed help. I felt like I was a burden. Everyone else was offered help.

The store was employee friendly everything was organized, clean very social distancing keep up the fantastic job

I usually find what I'm looking for, although, if I don't see what I'm looking for, it's sometimes it's hard to find an employee to help direct me. Sometimes, I've found the employees are busy chatting with each other and aren't paying much attention to customers. I think that certainly could improve. Otherwise, it's a good store to shop in.

would have given them 5 stars but i rate them 4 because i had to wait after customers that paid with credit opposed to cash

This store seems to not want cash. You wait forever for a $5 purchase!!!

Destiny in the Garden area is why I rate the overall experience fair. Destiny made me not ever want to deal with her again. Destiny was rude to me in front of my son. I told my son that I never want him to act the way Destiny acted. Always treat customers with respect and when you are in a service role provide good customer service. Do your best to always be helpful and courteous. I am writing this review mainly because I got this sense of cockiness from Destiny like she didn't care. I really wasn't pleased with that nor was I pleased with the idea that she thought it would be ok to have me track all the way back to aisle 25 to get another crawl space cover so that she could scan the item. Destiny told me it didn't matter whether I went back in the store or whether she went back into the store to get the item, it's the same thing whatever. She could have easily used her walkie talkie to ask someone from within the store to check the bar code or bring another one. Destiny was just not helpful at all. My hands were full of items, Destiny never took any of the items from me. She scanned the items while they were in my hands until I told her I needed to place them down. Btw the bar code was actually on the crawl space cover, Elaina in garden was helpful in showing Destiny where to find the bar code. Unfortunately, My experience with Destiny was a bad reflection on your store and the excellent service I'm generally used to. Destiny could really use someone mentoring her, and showing her how to genuinely care about her job. Her concern does not seem to be for the people in which she is to provide good quality service for. Due to Destiny's lack of basic customer service skills, Home depot unfortunately will be destined for more bad reviews just like this one if her attitude does not improve. -Unsatisfied Customer

Generally the Monrovia store offers a wider selection than the Alhambra store in the departments where I’ve shopped (garden, hardware, and plumbing supplies). The shopping experience doesn’t measure up to the old way, where a hardware store sold hardware only and their sales people knew their product lines. You could describe to them what you wanted the item to do, and they could direct you, even if you didn’t know the industry-standard description of the part. But as times change, apparently so must we.

Being that this store is in my neighbor I have often shopped at other locations just to see but I always come this store is the cleanest, friendlest kindest people of all stores I have shopped all employees knowing there position are very helpful in all areas

We went to Monrovia store to shop for washer-dryer. Home Depot carries a lot of brands and we found top-rated brand by Consumer Reports. Both were on sale so we purchased both with delivery of new and haul away of old. Wait was long but that's understandable because of pandemic and social distancing. Our salesperson Pablo was very knowledgeable and it took us less than half an hour to go through the purchase and delivery. Great store with lots of inventory with helpful salespersons.

We had been to three Home Depot stores in the greater LA area in one night looking for a standard closet door and no one seemed to want to help us or want to take our special order since it didn’t seem to be in stock. Two store employees literally told us to come back tomorrow and someone else could maybe help us. But then we decided to try once more and visited Home Depot Monrovia just before closing. Thank God we did! We ran into Ana, a manager there, and she not only helped us but went above and beyond and located the exact item we wanted, got us a cart, and helped us load the large item onto it. I kept telling her she made our night and really we were so grateful that the trip out was a success in the end. If it hadn’t been for Ana’s amazing customer service and help though, I don’t think we would’ve been so lucky. Thank you so much! We will definitely only be coming to Home Depot in Monrovia next time. Exceptional customer service and it didn’t matter that we came in 30 minutes before closing. We were treated so kindly and wonderfully. Can’t recommend this place enough. Once again, thank you Ana! You were a lifesaver this evening.

Naomi was awful at self checkout! She screamed cash or card at you while you waited in line. Not only that but she can’t figure out how to wear her mask appropriately! If customers are expected to then so should employees. Brianna at self checkout can’t also seem to figure out her nose needs to be covered! Customers should be able feel as safe as can be when shopping! Avoid the self checkout!!!!

The store was worth the 15 minute out of my way venture. I found a majority of what I needed and the employees were very helpful.

Very hard to load in loading area. Employees let people park that are not loading. Employees had no enthusiasm to get anything done.

Placed an online pick up order at 7am. It’s 7pm and it’s not even ready.

Friendly and helpful staff.

They lie and make things up just to get you out of the store or off the phone. Not the first time this has happened. They NEVER have enough stock. Lots of stuff, but never the right amount. Most of the staff have no clue. Would gladly drive 20 miles to another HD to buy what I need. Wrong items in the wrong spots, nuts, bolts, washers all mixed up, Items that have been returned put back without all the parts in the packaging necessitating another trip to sort things out. The lines are horrible compared to other HD's. There are some helpful people there, yes, it is just this last visit that tipped me over the edge, ordered stuff, got a confirmation date and that came and went. Was told it was there just needed unloading, then the next day was told no, not there, MAYBE in 2 1/2 more weeks. When I ordered the material, they COULD have checked stock and found another store that had enough of what was needed, instead they ordered my "special order" as a stock order. Stay away from 6629, when the original HD opened on Huntington years back, these people were top notch, now, not so much.

I visited the store during my lunchtime and it was very busy. While walking in I was greeted by a employee names Jenn B who was very friendly to me and the other customers. Her cheerful mood put a smile on my face and helped my stay sane in these crazy times.

This is a great place to get EVERYTHING you want from a hardware store & nursery. Staff is helpful, friendly, and practicing safe distance. :-)

Again I was very satisfied shopping at this store. I have used this store probably for as long as it has been here. I always shop there and have never had an issue. Bless you all and keep safe.

All our efforts to maintain ourselves safe and healthy, as well as those around us go down the drain when staff monitoring entrance to the store allow pets riding shopping carts into the store. Despite the fact Home Depot policy of no pets in the store is posted at the entrance. Staff ignores the policies they are suppose to adhere to. Let it be made clear this is not about service animals covered under the American Disabilities Act.

The Home Depot in Monrovia are all about putting people's needs first. Definitely recommend. And if you want an amazing experience, ask for Nacho. He goes way above and beyond for you.
