I RECEIVE ALL THE HELP, AND ASSISTANCE I NEED AT THIS STORE, AND IN MOST CASES THERE IS SOMEONE TO HELP YOU OUT. THEY ARE ALWAY VERY WILLING TO HELP, OR GET YOU ANOTHER ASSOCIATE THAT CAN.

As I was preparing to load 10 bags of mulch in my truck at the Garden Center, the cashier who just checked me out offered to help me (I was parked just a few feet from the checkout). I’m a senior citizen and lifting that weight into the bed of my truck isn’t easy! This girl was tiny, and I was amazed she could even lift it! But, load the truck she did!. This meant so much to an old man like me! Thank you Britney and Home Depot!

I cannot tell you how much I enjoy shopping in the Montville, CT store. I have been in many HD stores in six states, including eight or more stores the HD home town of Atlanta, GA. The Montville store is in a three-way tie for my number-one favorite HD stores. The store in number-two is ALMOST as good as well, but ALL of the rest and extremely horrible, making Montvile stand out even more!!! It is the people who make it stand out. Even those associates who are less skilled energetically assist customers to the fullest of their capacities and quickly see more informed guidance when it is required. I do not expect everyone in the store to be experts in every aspect of the store. But it is obvious that the HD training program is effective, and the team gets it. Sadly, I once saw a customer severely scolding an associate trying to assist in a department he was not familiar with because the associate didn't know where an obscure item was. The customer would not wait for further assistance and stormed out of the store. But the real hero was the associate, who turned to another customer and cheerfully assisted them. That is a mark of true character. I can buy my hardware and such lots of places, sometimes cheaper. But I can't find people I like as well. To me, it's all about service and respect. Respect is always present at this store.

Elizabeth spent alot of time with me helping to design a beautiful, unusual and unique plant selection for my garden. I came if for a common type of hydrangea, and left with a car load of really unique plants. She was wonderful, warm and knowledgeable. Great experience - and as a bonus, the prices were great, too :-) !

Look, I don't normally do this but I had to this time. I went to buy paint and there was this guy there. Big guy, equally big beard. I forgot his name but darn was his good! GREAT even! Give that guy a raise and employee of the month! I'm kicking myself for not getting his name. He wears glasses though... Maybe that's a good clue. Whatever the store was fine and I'm sure the paint is equally good but dang was this customer service rep was just great!

You have gained a loyal customer! I visited your Uncasville site three times trying to figure out the right choice for my raised garden beds. Each time I was assisted by your associates and offered so much information. Also, their PATIENCE with me was appreciated! This past time, Brian (from Lumber) was the associate that went well beyond costumer service. Brian was explaining to me how to build the garden beds after he cut the pieces. I became a little overwhelmed and asked him to draw me a picture. He did better. He built it for me. He took his time and I didn't feel rushed or inconvenient. The Raised beds look great! You have an amazing team- and I would definitely send Brian a thank you because he is the associate that turned an occasional Home Depot shopper into a loyal customer. You'll be seeing me more often! Thank you!

Love shopping for perennials in late July early August. Great sales (BYG1 50% off)on shrubs, trees, bushes. Selection and quality of the plants was good! Combined with a Garden Club coupon for $20 of $75 purchase- Great Deal!

I was extremely happy with Scott and Jason in the Appliance Department. I purchased a portable air conditioner. Scott slowly and carefully explained the workings and set up of the appliance. Jason happily assisted Scott with the entry of the sale. Jamal brought the air conditioner to my car and loaded it into the car for me. I just wish he was there to get it up the driveway and into the house for me but I did it! I didn't realize how heavy it was to carry.

The store is right in the area that I am working at. I know right where everything is located in the store. If I look like I am puzzled or can't find it an associate will ask me if I need help. Thanks local

They had the certain flowers I had been looking for and had a great assortment available. the cashier was very friendly and helpful.

I knew what i was looking for so i didnt request any help but while browsing drills i heard self - checkout assistant lady greeting every single customer and helping the with what they needed. My intention of buying screw extractor bid turned into 420 purchase of power tools because it was a great deal.

With a little perseverance and taking the time to keep looking all the while believing that the needed product should be there, finally found what would work for my project; very happy!

They're so helpful and patient even when waiting for a phone call from the boss

The associates will literally harass you when its close to closing. I know they want to go home, but you can't cut off people before closing and tell them not to gey somwthinh

The associate who helped me is Charlie...very courteous and friendly, and very pro HOme Depot. He was very helpful in assisting me in activating over 100 home depot gift cards, whereas the returns/customer service woman wanted nothing to do with it and pawned it off on Charlie, who went out of his way to assist me.

I never have a problem finding what I need for a project when I shop at my local Home Depot store. By far it is the best place to shop for whatever you require for a project or just to spruce up something. Associates are always available to offer you suggestions and to assist you

Store is well laid out, my only question is why don't you carry air filters for Toro walk behind lawn mowers since you do sell the mowers??

We went to HD for Garden soil and was met by an associate named Elizabeth who asked us what we needed. I said we were just getting a few bags of garden soil and all were set. She told us that the Miracle Grow soil was on sale for less than the soil we were after. Then she, quite a salesperson, talked us into a 4 ½ foot Japanese Maple tree that was 80% off. We’ve always like these trees but we were in a car! We were able to squeeze the tree into the car and it made it home safely. Thanks for the help Elizabeth!

Store is well staffed on the weekend and most evenings, but looks to be run at minimal levels on weekdays.

Went looking for a facet. Of course it wasnt in the bin it should have been. Associate was able to retrieve the product from upper storage. Thank you

Randy in Hardware Tools is my awesome go to guy. He always makes great suggestions on tools. Never tries to oversell me either. This is my third time being helped by him. He's like family. AJ helped me load my cart and trailer with sheetrock. Great Attitude. Make him a manager! Checkout woman was very nice and had a great demeanor.

After only finding horrible 2X3 lumber, the cashier Charlie gave me a discount on the wood at checkout. Give Charlie a raise. Today!

Montville location always in stock with what I need.. And when I need help with something the staff is always very accommodating. "In-store" inventory levels via websites has never let me down, always worth the trip.

I have shopped at Home Depot stores in six states over the past 30 years. The Montville, CT store absolutely ranks among the best. The associates are knowledgeable, helpful beyond measure, and always willing to go the extra mile. By contrast, associates some stores in other parts of the state have been less than helpful and occasionally hard to find to get assistance. In fact, when I lived in Atlanta, GA, (headquarters of Home Depot) the store associates simply drove me to the "Big Blue Competitor" across the street. But MONTVILLE , CT is by far one of the most superior stores in the country. To say that the customer service in this store is stellar just isn't enough. I always feel like I've been accepted into a family or into a very exclusive club!!!

Went to the store and was out in no time. Everything I needed was right there in the garden department.
