Latest delivery fail. 5 out of 7 cabinet broke. Delivery had been scheduled for previous week. Never showed. Tried to get satisfaction of status via phone, got nothing from rep other than asap. It was evident the damage happened that day in the driver took it back to the warehouse. Somebody at the warehouse then made the call to ship it out anyway and it showed up several days later with no call notifying me that it was being delivered that day. This is not the first time this has happened. It's almost the accepted practice at this point for having to reorder and wait for materials. My customer on this particular order no longer wants home Depot cabinets in their home.

This is the store I visit most often. The employees are very respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The store manager has helped me out too. It’s great to see that the leadership team is not too high up to be on the floor helping out.

Every time I need supplies for my DIY projects I go to my local Mundelein Home Depot! I can count on someone being able to help me locate exactly what I am looking For!!’

I bought a dishwasher about 10 days ago. Out of the two tall Mexican (!) installer one could not speak English at all; the other spoke with difficulty. He opened the water outlet and there was water all over the kitchen. They used some 10 towels of ours to remove water. They started the dishwasher with instructions not to stop it. After two and half hours when the cycle ended and we opened we found inside the Booklet completely wet. The bottom blades of the dishwasher look rusted and water remained on the door. Another mechanic came 3 days ago with another young man. Checked the hose, called someone and said the dishwasher needed to be changed; no cost to us, because the hose also has problems. During the first cycle there was leak on the wooden cabinet under the sink

I bought a dishwasher on 5.22.25. It seems to be cleaning well.

The right employees can make or break the shopping experience and return rate in both dollars spent and return customers. This store hits both points.

I should have learned. Third time buying a washing machine, this time for our new home. Delivery person, just like previous deliveries was not able to install, saying our water line pipes were corrupt and could not install. Wanting to just drop our new dryer/washer in garage and leave. I did not agree and told them to take it back. I am 70 years old with back issues, that is why I paid for them to install.

THE OLDER MORE SEASONED WORKERS WERE VERY KINF AND HELPFUL. USUALLY EVERYONE IS. THE CHECKOUT PERSONNEL AT THE RETURN AND PAY REGISTERS WERE ON THE PHONES WAY TO LONG. ONE WAS NOT VERY VERY NICE AND SEEMED ANOYED. AND DISINTERESTED AND HURRIED. I'VE BEEN IN RETAIL SERVICE FOR OVER 50 YEARS. THE ATTITUDE OF EMPLOYEES IS YOUR FRONT LINE. I WAS SURPRISED, I KNOW THAT EVERYONE HAS BAD DAYS AND PROBLEMS. OPEN THE BACK DOOR AND SCREEM AND THEN COME BACK TO WORK SMILING AND READY TO GO. i GO IN MY OFFICE AND PRAY IT A WAY.

I have shopped at a lot of Home Depot’s locally to me. I go out of my way to go to the Mundelein Home Depot. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I can get my materials and check out quickly to get to work. I go there sometimes just to say “Hi”.

The gentleman in the paint department helped us find things, even filters not in his dept He directed us to the aisle and exact bay. We bought heavy bags of salt for our softener and the cashier was great and another gentleman actually put it in our trunk. Loved the service.

The gentleman Paul or Bill sorry i have terrible memory helped my older grandmother obtain all her needs. He was insightful patient kind and even helped grabbed her supplies. He definitely is a gem!
