How can I fix drafty windows?

As the years pass, windows settle and may not fit as snugly as they did before. Check if they're drafty by bringing an incense stick to the window. If you can see the smoke swirl around the window, the cold air is getting in through tiny gaps. Fill obvious spaces around windows with caulk. If your windows aren't snug in the frames anymore, use foam tape, weather stripping, or even a window insulation kit with sealing film to keep out cold air. Replace the windows as soon as possible.

What can I work on when the weather is cold?

In colder climates, it's challenging to work out in the elements. However, a chilly day that's above freezing may be a good time to rake leaves or give the mulch in the garden a stir. A weekend organizing the basement or garage will pay off when spring comes. If your tools and gardening supplies are all set, tackle cleaning the rest of the house. Get out the cleaning supplies and cleaning tools, then give everything a good scrub.

How do I prepare for freezing temperatures and snow?

When you live in a location where snow may occur, it's smart to upgrade or organize your snow removal tool kit before a winter storm hits. Have a gas can ready to top off your gas snowblower if it's not already filled for the season, or check the battery on your electric snowblower. Don't forget to get out the sleds for the kids, and prep ice melt or salt and a salt spreader. Make sure your outdoor taps are drained and covered, too, with all hoses disconnected. Basic preparations like these keep you ready for whatever winter weather comes your way.

Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Yes, the N Myrtle Beach store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. You may secure your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Keep little doers engaged with a new kit pack for each event. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?

Lava Lamp Bulb

There is an employee named Dave that offered to help me the minute I walked into the store. I did not know what size bulb to buy after my first trip and had to return a second time. He offered exceptional customer service and was knowledgeable about the bulb and watts in the process! I was impressed with his willingness to help! Thanks for the staff and wanted them to know that helping the customer is IMPORTANT!! I will be back to visit this location!!

River stone is two completely different colors

We ordered 180 bags of white/yellow riverstone and one skid of three that came to our home was red/grey.

I really enjoy shopping at this Home Depot. Employees are friendly and willing to help when they are not assisting other guests. Clean, neat store to shop and I love their garden center. Always find what I need when I’m there

Home Depot’s Screen Tight System is great and easy to install. Turned my outside closet into a beautiful screened in patio. Every year I have to purchase Bag a Bug for Japanese beetles eating my roses and wisteria bushes and I always find it here. Also purchase all of our paints and stains here.

Great Customer Experience and Great Employees

I just LOVE Home Depot. There's no way to explain it. They are the best of the best. The employees are always FRIENDLY, HELPFUL and CARING. They always go out of their way to assist the customer any way they can. I have NEVER had a Bad Experience at this Home Depot. There is another Home Improvement store close by, and they DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE to the Home Depot here in North Myrtle Beach.

I purchased kitchen appliances from this store today and was very impressed by the employee that assisted me, (Tim Chance). He was friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel as if I was a guest in the store. Thanks to Tim and Home Depot in North Myrtle Beach for the wonderful southern hospitality shown to me.

Excellent Service

I needed help with some gardening questions. NOt only did the manager take the time to help, but also spent extra time explaining the differences in the items I was considering, asking questions and providing a recommendation for the best item for my situation (and it wasn't the most expensive)
