As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

I found the store in very good order. Upon arrival I got a good feeling as an employee was hustling to gather shopping carts in the parking lot. From my experience what you find in the parking lot will be repeated inside the store. I found exactly the plumbing parts I needed with the help from a very knowledgable employee and upon checking out, the cashier was so positive and I even got thanked for shopping at the store.

This review is specific to your Door/Molding Dept. The first part of this process went fine. My wife and I met with Wayne (Millwork Specialist) to pick out a new front door and storm door for our home. We are in the process of painting our house and chose to add a new door to enhance the appearance and make it the crowning piece. Your contractor came out in a timely manner, and took the required measurements. Then we went back to the store to confirm our selections and place the order and made payment of $1,894.96 for the doors and installation services No. H4032-85789. All went well, then I got a call from you store letting me know the doors were available for pick-up. This is where things went wrong. After getting the doors home, I called the store for the requested installation service. An employee I spoke with assured me she would contact the installing contractor and to expect a call from them. Three business days past and not a word. Then today, I went to your store to purchase more paint and supplies. While there I stopped a the customer service desk. A very helpful employee listened to my need and request - LISTENED. Isn't that a rare thing anymore. She re-entered my service request into the system and told me to expect a call. Withing a few hours, some fellow from you store called me. He had no idea where we were in the process. I had to explain it all over again for the third time. Then he told me it was MY RESPONSIBILITY to contact the contractor to arrange for the installation and gave me their number. I called them; the service person LISTENED to my story and my need. She said she would have to pull my file and would call me back - which she did shortly. She seemed as bewildered as I was. She told me it was the responsibility of HOME DEPOT to contact them regarding installation. On top of that, later that afternoon I received a computer generated e-mail confirming an appointment with Wayne in your Door/Molding department. Without doubt, your staff dropped the ball and tried to pass the buck on whose responsibility it was to arrange installation. My contract is with HOME DEPOT - period. The installer (K & P Remodeling) is Home Depot's vendor - not mine. I give your store failing marks in that respect.
