Terrible customer service

Lately, it’s been very difficult to find anyone who will answer a question, the employees seem to be walking around in groups of 2 or 3 and totally ignoring people asking them questions. It’s like they don’t see the customers. It’s very strange.

This has all the best tools for the job and customer service is always helpful

The nicest guy and always goes above and beyond to make any interaction the best.

Check in via HD app is very difficult, slow and confusing. My 4th time of using. Curbside and I hate the HD method of checking in!

For the 1st time in a long time the staff at the Rosedale store was helpful, cashiers were friendly. BUT... the policy for gift cards is terrible.

Comparing HD and others for replacement of kitchen sink and faucet. I found more selection and inventory at HD in Bakersfield, rather than the HD in Tehachapi, which is nearer to my house.

Train your young employees to treat older customers with respect!!! Smirking at a older lady when they bring back an unopened item that was damaged when stocking is unacceptable!!! And the kid continued smirking!!

I needed PLANTS this time and to be HONEST? This is the ONLY place I go for plants. They are FRESH, well cared for and oh my the options are amazing! Then, if you watch the ads there are some great sales. I got 6 plants that I wanted anyway and was lucky enough they were on sale!! 3 for $12.00!! What a deal!! I went back about 9 days later and was sad... not still on sale, but hey!! I saved plenty the first trip!! I still got 5 more. Beautiful and health plants. The ones we planted last week are all doing amazing!! In fact 2 of them are starting to bloom already. That is the difference if you get good healthy plants in the first place!! GREAT garden shop!

I don’t like when the staffs not coming at time and not body can’t tracking , I hire a two people for make my proyect and my home n i lose them because the material not coming complete or a time

The customer service at the store was excellent. I would like to thank Beatris Cortez for her help at getting me everything I needed for this project and a timely manner her professionalism was excellent and the fact of her speaking fluent Spanish was a plus. I would recommend her customer service to anyone who wants to experience true professionalism and pride in their job

Your store mainly hires all the types of people who never would have survived 50 to 100 years ago and have little to no clue how the stores merchandise would be used in teal life

Self checkout uses AI to analyze your shopping habits. I did not buy anything or use a credit card. Got an email with a survey in it today after yesterday’s visit. If you don’t want to be spied on don’t use self checkout or stay off camera?

I’m in this store all the time, it’s always me first stop 🛑! I will say this, it is always Ticks Me Off to have to find a register that takes Cash! Another thing the store caint seem to have people to check U out like old times! However they sure are able to find more than enough Folks to hang around and watch the registers, Geeze I would think it would make more sense to have those register watchers to be register operators! Another thing the garden department clearly has its hours of operation posted, the sign clearly says closes at 6PM! However Time and Time again my wife have been there at 5:15pm, just to find the garden department gate closed and locked so now we have to go through the store to get to the garden department and then if we buy anything we have to push a heavy cart all the way up and through the store to check out, I’m not an attorney however I do feel this falls in the category of fault’s advertising which the Lady with the blind fold on says this is an illegal act punishable by a timely stay stay in the Pokie!

Everything is where it needs to be. The employees are helpful when asked but other than that no one interacts to see if you have any questions.

I frequent this location often, consistently stocked wit products more so than Ming and Mt Vernon locations..great and very helpful staff!!

Self check it’s not conducive the customer service and shows a lack of commitment to customer service on the part of the company. People stand around and say go to this registered and stuff like that, but they really don’t help you and sometimes it’s nice to be helped.

We went to get a new garbage disposal. Christy went above and beyond to help us. And made sure we were happy with the service we received.

I hate that Home Depot doesn’t have Apple Pay, as I was having trouble with my payment. It’s very inconvenient. Instead of sending me away when I had trouble, Tyler personalized his approach and helped me complete my order. He was kind, helpful, and patient. Much appreciated!!

I bought a refrigerator from the Rosedale store and they were all very nice and knew exactly what I was looking for.

Hey, you literally want the fastest service in and out in seconds garden cashier is amazing

First staff member was not too interested in helping us, however the rest of the staff was extremely kind. Took way longer than expected to get help out to vehicle to load up a 200+ lb smoker. Waited 15+ minutes after paying.

Employee was very helpful locating the right light bulb. There were so many and he quickly found the right one I needed.

I had a terrible experience in the customer service department where I am originally from on the Central Coast of California, so coming to this store in Bakersfield I figured it would be the same; however, I was delighted to find that I was wrong. Justin in the Customer service department not only exceeding my expectations but also helped me receive a credit that I didn't know or realize that I was going to receive. Thank you Justin!
