Are Kids Workshops offered at the Bakersfield Central Home Depot?

Yes, the Bakersfield Central store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. You may secure your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.

Home Depot on Ming

This is my go to store and always have a great experience with them! I recently asked an employee to speak to the manager about donating items for my school. Juan was wonderful in helping me get the donation. He was with me from start to finish and went above and beyond!! The assistant manager was great and open to helping me out with this project.

Great Customer Service

I bought and was unhappy with a product, I was ashamed to return it because the box was opened. I asked the employee what I should do and with great enthusiasm she asked to return it. I was happy! I returned it and bought something more expensive.

Bad customer service

The so-called store manager Sonia at the Ming Home Depot does not have customer service training and made me feel like a criminal for using the water fountain. Then tried to say it was store policy, but could not produce a policy or SOP that said I couldn’t use the fountain. No posted signs or anything, but she made me feel like my money and presence was not wanted in that store.
