Easter Sunday, 4/20/2025, the husband and I went to #4177 Home Depot in New Freedom and bought a Cub Cadet Lawn tractor and a steel cart/wagon for it to drag around. Rebecca was extremely helpful. We told her what we wanted and she took us right to them. She grabbed a cart for us to put the steel cart/wagon on, then rounded up a couple employees, grabbed some ramps, and then she, Diego, and Matt shoved the mower up into the bed of the pickup truck. We wouldn't have been able to do it ourselves. If only we'd had their help unloading it at home! Rebecca, Diego, and Matt we all very helpful and we really appreciate it!

needed outdoor lightning-price right and many to choose from, needed silicone caulk-several to select from and rep helped me find the exact silicone that I would need-very helpful and saved me a great deal of time.

Earlier this year I purchased materials for a walk in shower to replace our tub shower, the project went real well and we love the new shower, so glad we made this change. Home Depot was wonderful in help with choosing materials to fit our color desires.

Rose helped me at self checkout and acted as a normal isle cashier checkout person would. She scanned and bagged all my stuff for me. No self checkout for me! Thanks Rose, much appreciated1

Every time I go to this store I have trouble getting someone to help me. I don’t know if they are short staffed or what but many of the employees seem angry. I don’t find the store very friendly sometimes.

I bought some plants for landscaping

The review I just provided was for the East York store and not the New Freedom store. The East York store greeted me and has a separate rental center, whereas the New Freedom store does not have a rental center, nor do I remember being greeted in the New Freedom store, whereas I was greeted multiple times in the East York Store. I will still shop at the New Freedom store since its closer and more convenient; however there have been a number of times when the website inventory of New Freedom says they have X in stock, while when I visit the store there are none of that item on the shelf, which is a pain because then I need to visit the next closest East York store 17 miles north.

I was there when this store opened it was so clean and big feeling now it feels jam packed with stuff and is a maze to get threw n over and around people literally have to turn sideways to get past each other in the aisles associates are tired and never around when you need them got told more then once on different occasions it’s over there and was pointed towards n aisle I will be shopping any other hardware store but Home Depot from now on

HOME DEPOT DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS

I placed an order on homedepot.com but there was an item missing.

Purchased an Anderson storm door and having it installed. Frank made it very easy to make our purchase.

The product I wanted was an online special. Employees helped me order & product will be delivered to the store

I purchased three entry lock-sets and needed one re-keyed. I have a Home Depot 11 miles from my home and this New Freedom Location is 24 miles. This New Freedom store is my choice of stores for parking, available inventory and above all, the friendly and knowledgable employees. It's worth the ride.

Friendly and expedient service. It’s nice to see smiles on employees that are helping you! That’s very hard to find anymore… the smiles and the help!!!

As with all stores, you need more customer service employees

It’s January 7th2025 in Shrewsbury Pa and Home Depot has already ran out of melt. This is our first snow and no ice melt. The manager should be demoted to cashier.

Larry in Plumbing at your New Freedom, PA store is TOP NOTCH. Extremely knowledgable and very helpful. Takes time to explain things and educate you. Very incredible person and employee. NEGATIVE--TURN DOWN THE "MUSIC" in the New Freedom, PA store like by 90%. Even off altogether would be better. It's SO LOUD I need to wear ear plugs in that store. I'm going there to buy things when I go, NOT GET BLASTED in my ears. I actually spend LESS TIME and spend LESS MONEY at that store because of the super loud annoying music. Not going to Home Depot to go to a rock concert. Thank you for turning the music way, way, way down. I've mentioned this to staff there before. Still way, way, way too loud. Quiet is ok. Quiet is good. Loud annoying music is bad, very bad.

I deal with alot of home depot stores , New Freedom is by far the most organized, friendliest & cleanest by alot.

I purchased a tool chest. I was met by Aneeta .She was very polite, high energy and got right on finding me the box in the store. Then outside Joe and the store manager helped load the box. Great experience!! Please pass this on. Thank you

Bought a Rheem hot water heater with catastrophic malfunction- Home Depot were incompetent at providing a warranty replacement after being told what to do to by both Rheem and other Home Depot reps. After 2 trips and over 2 hours to resolve.

Bought an exterior door with install. Paid to have a visit to measure the door and inspect for the job. Point out existing storm door to be kept in place. Go in to store to pay for door and the installation process. In response to solicitation for new storm door indicate the existing one which needs to remain in place. Employee cannot get system to process so prints out a receipt that has no language to speak of but includes $93.75 for additional labor to the $518+ installation fee. After installation, store calls demanding an addition $178 for putting my storm door back on. Get a lot of you signed. Now the installer had me sign blank screens for door was okay, no lead and installation complete. (He did fine on installation but apparently there was unseen verbiage hiding behind the screens I never saw. Frankly, I thought the presentation (confrontation really) by the clerk was challenging my integrity. Showed what I got as a receipt. Completely inadequate explanation of the $93.75 + $178 additional labor charge on top of the “installation”fee. Over $700 in labor. Throughout they knew what my job was but they misquoted and then insulted me to get more money. Feels like a bait and switch. Plus the insulting challenge to what I did. Never sign a blank screen for them. Can’t get system to process without printing. Walk away. I did get an apology but frankly, doesn’t satisfy how I felt at the presentation. Will not use for installation again. Bad experience overall. Getting offered their paperwork that I never saw at the end was insulting. Frankly, I don’t trust them.
